Here is my opening keynote talk for the 2013 Øredev Conference.
"Brave." "Disruptive." "Inspiring." "Warrior spirit." These were a few of the ways people spoke about the presentation. I hope you find it enjoyable and useful.
Back from the Code Forest
What an exceptional conference! I had several personal breakthroughs at Øredev. Dancing for developers as their opening keynote was radical. One of the things I truly enjoyed was the very strong workshop nature of the event. Truly inspirational. My part of the presentation covers everything from what an API is to how you get started using and publishing APIs. Hampus talked about how he used Twitters API to make Twittercensus (an analysis of the Swedes on Twitter) and Travis talked about the security risks and possible solutions.

These days, display manufacturers are trying to figure out how to get us humans to optimally view large screens packed with data, but there was a time when I naturally had a field of vision of 3 distinct outputs from input. Maybe I could volunteer? #oredev
