@oreichalkos liked for a starter!
Zain stood in the hall facing Dartz calmly as he could. They where in the temple now but wasn’t sure the time or didn’t really care.. All Zain was thinking was, he wanted to leave very quickly very soon. Dartz hadn’t spoken yet or he was too deep in thought to hear him. The Knight shifted back with a look of worry. “Um..”
How did he use to speak to the King? All words died in his throat trying to hide the fact he was to turn traitor. “Did you say something..? I apologize i..was thinking-”
“ flowers grow back even after the harshest of winters. you will too. ” from one deity 2 a disaster king ???
He Instantly felt a dread wash over him, thinking that he was finally freed of the god.. but.. There it was, the familiar voice of something he’d listened to for so many years. “I-i thought.. you were dead?!” He hissed and turned round quickly - but nobody was stood there. “Ngh...! Where are you..”

“I know what you’re going to say, Dardanos...” She struggled to look her husband in the eye, afraid to see the evil in them she had seen all those years ago.
“’How could I have done this? Stayed away all of these years, and why didn’t I come back to you — to our daughter?’ Well, what sign did I have that you could change?”
@oreichalkos said: “ there’s so much light in you. ” softer prompts
The words of kindness come like a gentle breeze in a summer sky, a soft and warm feeling against his skin. He does somewhat feel a little mellow on the inside to hear that. Even though… this very much contradicts his whole being. But… Isn’t it how he also defeated the darkness from inside him as well? He had to unleash his light to overcome everything. And he never would have expected for it to be this strong.
Thousands of years trapped in a Milennium Item. Most of his light diminishing. The darkness has been his perfect domain, the strong protective arms that held him. He'd felt safe and sound in this profound connection to it that anchored deeply in his very soul. Strands like black fire in the reflection of a mirror, striking aureate eyes shooting open. His shadow form crawling on the brick wall at an alleyway. It was supposed to be that Yugi were to be born as his light and he’d been bound in the dark. He’s always believed that Yugi was his twin flame, the Yang to his Yin. And he still believes it. But by the end…And Yami could have absorbed some of the light throughout his journey.
Magenta irises reflect Dardanos’ own— and he realizes something. He remembers Dartz had different colored eyes— gold and green. Once he was released from the Orichalcos’ influence, it seems his original gold hue had returned. It’s almost as though he was transformed back to a different person. Something Yami can relate to… He must’ve been different when he was Pharaoh and eventually as he was dipped into darkness and rid of his memories he’d changed. And because he understands it, he sympathizes with Dardanos. He can clearly see the difference from before and now.
Lips part open slightly and he tries to muster his words. The good feeling lingers and he wants to accept it. Dardanos has also accepted him even after everything. He would still manage to tell him words so heart-warming even after the pain they’d endured.
“I…” Yami clears his throat before dipping his chin.
He would say the same. He can witness a soft flowering of the soul in the other— a budding light. A heart cleansed from darkness. And he’d wished he’d gotten to know Dardanos first before he’d encountered Dartz. Regardless… by the end, he still managed to see the difference. The contrast… between good and evil. He would assume evil isn’t born… it’s been made. Everyone is born with a good soul.
“I’ve never thought I harbored light in myself. But, I suppose, because of this light I felt darkness. It had been obscured, buried deep down. Only after the light filters our hearts is when we’d find our true selves…”
He feels like he got carried away for a second, so he clears his throat and lifts his chin, eyes fixated on the male in front.
“Dardanos… I wish we had the chance to say more to each other."
