I became a feminist when I realized just how homophobic my parents are. I became a feminist when my mom told me to put on a dress cause I'm not a boy. I became a feminist when I realized I'm biromantic & genderfluid & I have no one to support me. I became a feminist because the term is used as an insult and I disagree. I became a feminist because no one, not even my parents or friends, believes that a 14 year old child can chose who they are and what they stand for.
What or who sparked your feminist awakening? Send me an ask or write it in a message (let me know if you want to share it anonymously or not)!
