TWO TOED SLOTH
For this weeks organism i chose the two toed sloth.(Choloepus didactylus) This species is a Choloepus and in the animalia kingdom. They tend to grow 58 to 70 cm and have brown/tan fur. The weird thing about this creature is that they don’t have two toes, they have two fingers. They eat leaves, but also shoots, fruits, nuts, berries, bark, some native flowers, and even some small rodents. They can not walk, and spend most of their life hanging upside down. They give birth to one young hanging upside down and stay with it for several months until it is fully grown. They are known to be one of the slowest creatures on earth.
