In case my previous sketchbook is lost a week ago, I decided to buy a new one. As always I'd like to draw something for the cover, since I'm in hype with KHX, so I drew my character, who almost looks like Xion lol... But she's not, let's say just look alike.

Slowly documenting the progress of constructing a coat from scratch. In other words--I'm starting to write instructions for the patterns I'll be selling! Above is the layout for a small-size Organization coat. There are certain gaps where I changed the length (making the coat and sleves longer), which will be fixed for the final pattern. This is just one layout option...working with a fat fold instead of a long one will come next. It's also nice to know that I can get a whole small coat into less than 4 yards! I'm guessing that a medium is going to take about 5, and a large is going to take about 6 at this point.

Pictures like these make me really want to get back into doing cosplay myself again.  I miss hanging out in a large group of folks that are really passionate about a game/show/series and really creative in their way of showing it.  ;-;

Although I've been very busy with a new job and with some other personal projects (currently writing, though it does vary) I'd like to offer a special **Christmas Coat.**

Its going up on Ebay this Saturday, the 23rd, and will end next Saturday, the 30th.  This coat will be to the auction winner by Christmas.

Limited Run Organization XIII Cosplay Coat available now through Ebay Auction! Since I'll either be going to Mars or joining the Air Force, I do not know how many more of these I have left--especially since I've just gotten a new job for the foreseeable future. Here is one to tide us over until I can begin working on patterns this fall!

So I make Organization xiii coats. I've been making them for six years now, beginning with a pattern that I drafted from scratch, cruising through starting a business just to get giant zippers, and ending with a long line of happy cosplayers. At the beginning of this year, I stopped offering coats as I began my intended journey towards joining the Air Force. Now, I'm offering a few, limited coats as my journey takes me instead towards Mars. This Friday I'll be putting one up on Etsy. The cost will be 500$ for a fully customizable coat. You can see a previous listing here if you'd like an idea what you'll be getting. The new coat, however, will be going up on Nostalgia Bomb's Etsy store instead. I had a slipup with a measurement, which means I've got a whole, brand-new coat that needs a home.  Never been worn, Axel-style sleeves, up-hood, and #20 zipper.  It's ready to ship out immediately.
