So i had time to write this,

God he couldn't handle the loud music, he felt too old for this, and yet here he was in A bar and the person next to him was pissing him off for no good reason, they looked like they were in Thier 30 or late 20s, and the way they held their glass, was loose, they weren't drunk but they also didn't seem to be in this realm of existence like they were somewhere else and a part of him envyed that he wished he could ignore the annoying music, the people pumbing into him, he wished he'd stayed home but it was far too lonely

The sound of the glass hitting the table pretty hard started him, and everyone around the stranger next to him even the edgy 20 year old next to them, and when he stared at them with annoyance he noticed the shock on Thier face turn to a grimace as they refused to look at anyone, staring at the table almost like it was the tables fault and not Thier shitty hold on the glass

How rude did you have to be to not even attempt to apologize, but he wasn't one to judge when it came to apologies it took him far too long to realize it was his fault that the world almost shattered, that earth was almost destroyed because of his pride, now it was his turn to avoid everyones gaze and focus on his drink

is my original story i spent years working on kind cool or is it just me? I left it a year and, i think its good still. its YA+

Chapter 1 Day 1 Horror is a genre that can teach every young child what they should do, if they wish to die a horrible death, from a list of horror mistakes one could also learn what not to do so that they may prolong their life. Ultimately the goal was with all possible mistakes that could be made already learnt from films, a survival list of what not’s could be made, and Robert could become invincible, he would make no mistake already seen by humankind, in this disgusting dystopian universe.

Robert didn’t know how long Earth had been dystopian. For himself it always had been, in fact, every day that went by left his dystopia further in the past, but that couldn’t be true. Not with the busses coming for people. To take them. But even so earth to him didn’t seem that dystopian. Society didn’t know the government was evil, not even the army knew the things they were doing were bad. Obviously someone knew, in fact a lot of people knew, but all that evil stuff, that happened a few decades ago, and even though the same people were still alive some still even in power, people refused to believe that something evil could ever happen again. Times had changed, and barbaric behaviour surely had to be left in the past. Yet as far as anyone was concerned the town people were helping each other. If any of them had the power to shut this activity down, to end this, they wouldn’t, they were oblivious. Could Robert even pretend Earth was dystopian, when there wasn’t a single tear of betrayal? Logically yes, but there was something missing.

The reason for the construction of the survival list was due to the current event the government called: “Mandatory evacuation, voluntary Moon relocation.” They were liars. Robert, and Sam had tried to nickname the event, “help! totally going to slaughter everyone” which they had the subsequently agreed was a little long so they had shortened it to “you can’t even live on the moon thats not how science works, and even if it was you can’t really get every single human being up there.” Although this was in fact longer so they decided to go with a pun “the government’s killer plan.” It was true to them, and they had more compelling things to worry about. Such as making stupid mistakes. Mistakes like not replacing a phone with a faulty battery, even though that phone and battery played a key role in insuring the survival of a friend.

Robert had left his phone on charge for two whole days before, but somehow that had only made the battery worse at its required job. He sat in the field, surrounded by sparse blackened maize. The road in the distance roaring as busses drove past. Rain spat on his hunched up figure. His teeth biting his lip as he typed “they’re here” on his phone. 1% battery left. Select contacts. Scroll. The screen flashed black showing nothing but the white outline of an empty battery. Roberts left hand wiped the water up from his forehead, as it clenched around black curls. He took in a deep breath looking at his blank phone. She was going to die, and this time, it would be his fault.  He closed his eyes dropping the phone in the wet mud.

The Survival List part 1

Don’t play with fire. No pranks. Never go back for ‘friends’. Always apologies. Never fight anything yourself. Don’t make the social workers angry. Stay out the basement, at all costs. Know your first aid. Never let any wounds go untreated. Keep the bracelet safe.

Oof, In creative writing we have to finish these stories by after spring break and... I just kinda started showing up and we just started writing the stories. I don’t think I’ll be able to finish. Ahhhhh

Hindsight

*******Chapter one***************

The storm raging outside of the car had blown in the day before. It has already cause severe damage throughout town. The heavy rain had flooded several neighborhoods and the strong winds had cause minor damage to homes and ripping out trees. It did not seem to be letting up anytime soon, the roaring winds and never ending rain seemed to be ear-piercing making all other sounds to dim. The contrast between the loud storm and the quite streets was eerie. The streets were normally packed with cars and people, the power of the storm had caused all the people to seek shelter inside their homes.

She had the urge to roll down her window and let the storm in. Both the smell of rain and the actual rain had always made her feel more relaxed and calm, she felt like she needed that calm. The day had left her with a strange feeling of something wrong, nothing had happened to cause the feeling but it was there; sitting at the back of her mind, nagging at her. She had tried to ignore it but it had grown stronger as the day a progressed on. She felt like jumpy out of her skin, she really needed to calm down rolling down the window might help but this wasn’t her car and she had a feeling her new partner wouldn’t like to show up to interview the witness soaking wet. So she pushed the unease down and focused in the road.

They were on their way to interview a woman who claimed to have seen her neighbor kill someone.  The call hadn’t been taken too seriously by their captain and after listening to the dispatchers recording neither of them sure what to think. The elderly woman who had called it in had told the dispatcher that the murder had happened a week ago on her neighbor’s front lawn and that she hadn’t reported it sooner because she normally finds her neighbor to be nice and polite. But over the last couple nights the neighbor had become rude keeping her up all night with people coming and going. The dispatcher had thought that it was just an elderly person annoyed with their neighbor and was looking to get someone in trouble.  The call should have gone to homicide but the lady swore on the phone that magic was involved so the call was theirs.

The car slowing down and then stopping snapped her from her thoughts. She looked at the neighborhood they had pulled into, to her it scream suburbia. The houses where all clean painted with freshly mowed lawns some even had white fencing going around them. Not a neighborhood where someone killed someone in broad daylight in the front yard and no one reported it. Sighing Sam got out of the car she took in a deep breath of the rain filled air and relaxed.

She watched as Darren got out of the driver side, he was huge; towering over her small five foot nothing frame by easily a foot. He was a stereotype picture for an Alpha male, which given that he was a wolf made scenes. His body didn’t seem to have an ounce of fat, and she would beat that if he took his shirt off he would have a perfect six pack. She shook her head and told herself to stop checking him out. He looked over the car and her and raised an eyebrow and then started to walk towards the front door of the house they had pulled up in front of.

As they approached the door Darren stiffened and held up his hand, warning her to stop and that something wasn’t right. Looking around him towards the door she saw what had worried him, the lock on the door had been busted, leaving the door to hang slightly opened. They both drew their guns Darren moved first pushing the door open and making his way inside with Sam right behind him. The first room they entered was a living room there was furniture turned upside down, a few small objects broken here and there and a glass coffee table was shattered. The room branched out into two different hallways so they spilt up, Darren taking the hallway to the right while she made her way towards the kitchen area to the left. The kitchen was empty, and in immaculate condition, meaning that whatever fight that had happened in the living room did not continue into here.  So Sam took a moment to let some of her power build up inside of her. While she didn’t like the idea of letting her guard down in a possibly dangerous situation but she needed to know if someone was in the house, so she placed her back against the nearest wall and closed her eyes.

Letting her magic reach out and roll off her it poured first through the kitchen, she could feel different kinds of energy here mostly normal things like calm, relaxed and happy emotions. Nothing that said something bad happened here and nothing that that felt to her as another presence. She focused the magic to make its way slowly through the halls and into the first small bedroom down the hall. She could feel Darren making his way through the room; he stopped walking when her magic ran over him. She had never used her magic to sense a wolf before and it was strange; it felt as if there were two beings instead of one and there was something so primal that it caused a small spick of fear to run down her spine. She took her focus off him and continued to search the room. This room like the kitchen had small amounts of basic everyday energies, the ones that said someone happy and content lived in the house.

The next room was different then the first two, the second her magic entered the room she felt surrounded in wrath and anger. It seemed fill the room; suffocating any happy emotions that might have once been there. The force of the anger was so powerful that when it looped through her magic, it hit her so hard her knees gave out causing her to fall to the kitchen floor. She was so overwhelmed that it took her breathe away and causing her to use every ounce of control to block it out and move on to the last room in the house.

There was only one strong emotion in the last room. Death.  There was no one else alive in the house. Sam was sure that when she looked in the last room there would be a body. When she was sure the house was empty of any threats she pulled back her magic. She stood up, and leaned against the wall her eyes where still closed and she was taking deep breaths to center herself, when she felt a hand touch her shoulder causing her to shriek at the same time she threw up her elbow hitting a body in the chest. Her eyes opening at the same time and the elbow made contact.

“Ouch” came a low growl from Darren.  She hadn’t even heard him walk into the room. Fucking wolves she thought, “Well that’s what you get for sneaking up on someone.” She shouted.

A smile formed on his face, “I take it that we are the only ones in the house?”

She was shaking slightly from the fill of so much anger and a bit from the adrenaline rush her idiot partner had cause. “Almost, there is a body in the last bed room.”
