you know im 21 and id watched ed edd and eddy when i was a kid too and it took me all these fuckin yrs until now basically to realize that double dee is called double dee bc his name is edd, w two d's and if this isnt a perfect desc of the kinda person i am i dont know what is.

his name has two d’s bcs hes gay and only gay people have double letters in their name

that was all in indiana which ykno honestly....kinda makes sense for indiana. theres like 2 waffle houses in illinois and im pretty sure theyre nowhere near chicago but my moms family lives in southern/central indiana so were down there a bunch. im glad theyre not like that in other places tho bc otherwise that sounds miserable

yea the only issue i have with waffle house out here is that whenever i go in the people taking my order always think im high

theres a rly good thread on twitter i gotta find it abt how like. the mcelroys n co have been rewarded and praised for this like ‘soft boy’ aesthetic in comedy or w/e but like if this comes up w like comedians of color, or lgbt comedians that they get ignored or put down like. i think theres not a lot inherently wrong w them like currently but theyre def bein rewarded fr bein white men doin the bare minimum in ways that poc and lgbt folx wouldnt like. recieve th same way

Like off the top of my head like Ron Funches comedy is very i guess softboy like he's chill and giggles a lot and comments on that and has like..... a very relaxed style lol but yeah thats what it is like how i feel about tr*ye like hes ok lol but like....... the upholding of him as being hte BEST AND ONLY like gag me charlotte
