Have you ever had a crush on a teacher? No, I was never really into that.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years? hopefully healthy and financially stable?

If you could be anywhere right now, where? with my boyfriend but my dogs are also with us.

What was your coolest Halloween costume? My Grandma made me a full Hershey’s chocolate bar costume when I was 5. Nothing will beat that. 

What was your favorite 90’s show? Full House was a quality program. 

Why was your last kiss? I was saying goodbye see you soon :) 

Have you ever been to Las Vegas? nah I’ve never made it farther west than Texas

Favorite pair of shoes? My black leather boots that lace up to the ankle. Those are power shoes.

Favorite book: World War Z. Great storytelling. 

Stupidest thing you’ve ever done: Spending way too much time in a relationship with someone really didn’t care all that much.

Insomnia: What’s the longest amount of time you’ve stayed awake?

Oh boy - probably the time I went to Avoid Island. So context, an assignment for this turtle conservation uni course at Avoid Island was due the day I left for the field trip. So naturally I did an all nighter finishing it cause I’m me. So I think I would’ve woken up at like 8 the day before I left, had work and did my assignment all through the night to Sunday morning at 4am when I had to leave for my plane. Then it was travelling 6 hours to Mackay, getting to the remote island, doing some beach profiling and learning the ropes. Then our turtle shift started about 7:30pm that night, and because we had to relocate a nest on top of the 6 hour shift, I didn’t get into bed until Monday morning at like 3:50am. Oh my god I have never been so tired. Sure there were some sneaky naps on the plane and on the island and some 20min naps between our walks along the beach looking for turtles. But all up it was like around 43 hours of no sleep - I feel tired just thinking about it.

Idk if i have a clear favourite but I like the simplicity of sublime

i think a lot of it has to do with the script they were given to work with, too. you talk about their lack of chemistry when they're married, and the scene that sticks out to me is in rots in her pearl nightgown when theyre doing that "but im so in love with you" part -- like, how do you play that dialogue so it's natural-sounding. and that's a lot of their interaction, talking to each other about how much they love each other, which falls flat after a while.   also a lot of the meat of padme's story was cut out of the prequels so any conflict in their marriage that would have made it feel like a real relationship wasn't properly delved into, imo. (i havent seen clone wars/rebels yet but i hear their relationship is a little more interesting in cw) so tl;dr i think christiansen is a fine actor, especially in the scenes you mentioned, but the script (and y also the chemistry) didnt allow him to showcase that

Yes yes yes!!! It’s a shame a lot of Padmé’s story and subplots were cut out of the prequels, and the script that remained wasn’t too conducive for some of their relationship scenes, especially in ROTS. I do like their relationship a lot more in TCW from what I’ve watched, where you get to see more of it, and the interactions and conversations become more meaningful and understandable in good context.

i couldnt say how ive gotten this far in life with my priorities screwed on sideways, but dammit youre right. (since i'm getting dragged already, now may be a good time to point out that i haven't seen atla/lok either?? *winces*) but okay so fma brotherhood? as opposed to fma... regular???

Okay, so FMA: Brotherhood follows the Manga (and, honestly, I would recommend reading the manga above watching the anime, but not everyone’s about that). When the manga got all pops they started an anime that, I guess, went faster than the manga and it veered off in a whole other direction (even got a movie after it). Those are great too, but, really, get the real story. FMA: Brotherhood or straight up read the manga. That is an order, punk.

As much as I love Avatar, I would prioritize FMA over that. That’s just me. Avatar turned out to be a fantastic accident for me and LoK, while the first couple seasons had me alternatively beating my head against the wall and grinning, finished up well. But yeah, FMA All The Way.
