I keep this strange little box because it was one of the few things I remember doing with my dad. It’s something I’ve had on display as well as stored in my keepsake box. This origami cube has been tucked away with love letters and souvenirs. I wish I had done more things like this with my dad. He was so creative, but he only expressed it with work, metal working and welding. He could have painted the whole world a new and better version if he’d ever had the inclination to.
