Quick Ball vs Origin Ball
Quick Ball
Origin Ball
Round 2 gets started and we have a very interesting match up already!
The Quick Ball won by the biggest margin in Round 1, clearly being a fan favourite! Or is it only because it was the first Round and it will lose its effectiveness after that?
First of all, apologies to the Origin Ball for claiming the Jet Ball was the only Hisuian Round 1 winner- the Origin Ball still stands! But only barely- it had the narrowest margin of victory in Round 1, so against the biggest winner, will it hold up?
Get voting, there's plenty more matches to come!
Finished up the main story last week and just "finished" up the pokedex the other day, so... I'm just about done! Hopefully I'll do a less lazy render next week.

Lure Ball vs Origin Ball
Lure Ball
Origin Ball
Up next in Round 1 is a very unusual matchup!
In one corner is the rather obscure Lure Ball- one of Kurt's signature Poké Balls that we'll be seeing throughout the competition. Made from Blue Apricorns, the Lure Ball is designed to be used on Pokémon found while fishing, and depending on the game, it can have a 3, 4, or even 5x multiplier when doing so! However, in the most recent games, Scarlet and Violet, it's the subject of a glitch which means it only ever has a 1x catch multiplier- functioning no different from a regular Poké Ball. Despite the unfortunate luck, it's still an interesting Ball with a unique look!
On the other hand, we have a particularly special Ball. The Origin Ball isn't even a Ball really- it's a truncated icosahedron! It's one of the few times a particular Ball is important to the plot, when in Legends Arceus, the player uses the Ball to catch either Origin Forme Dialga or Origin Forme Palkia. The Origin Ball also cannot be selected as an item in battle, and therefore can't be used on any other Pokémon- in fact, it's the only usable Poké Ball to also be a key item. It also shakes 3 times like the modern Poké Balls we know and love, whereas other Hisuian Balls only shake once. A one-of-a-kind Ball through and through, will it make it to Round 2?
