Oh no :( What have they broke this time, I wonder?
They certainly haven’t UN-broke group chat.

The little messages about how quick origin is while updating (as hours go by and you wait for the damn thing to tick over) are my personal favourite.
YES. “Origin downloads are optimized,” it tells you, as Origin’s one and only server hands your patch over to you seemingly one byte at a time.

The cackle that just bubbled out of me at this post was frankly a little disturbing.
I suspect Origin has provoked a lot of disturbing reactions.

Wh-what? Origin is great and super and absolutely works very well and isn't terrible!
...
You may wish to block the “origin critical” tag so I don’t shatter all of your illusions. :P

mostly I love how you tagged it "origin critical" like there's somebody who might object that you're bitching about Origin :D
Like Moon? :D I dunno, maybe Origin’s loved ones hang out on Tumblr and don’t want to hear criticism... (no, Origin has no loved ones, it DESERVES TO BE ALONE)

painterofhorizons replied to your post “Ugh, trying to diagnose intermittent crash problems is the worst....”
“Did I just fix it, or has it just decided not to crash right now?” is the most accurate description of me. Ever.
I had not MEANT this to be a metaphor but it really came out that way, didn’t it?
(Also, the answer was “it just decided not to crash right now,” alas.)
ORIGIN NO.
*eyes twitch*
Yeahhhh, Origin is still annoying.
I fucking HATE Origin.
I just redeemed my copy of DA2, which I managed to get from an ebay seller for much cheaper than EA was selling the game for. But, in the process of downloading the damn client, I had to reset my password. I thought I was going insane, tbh. I knew my password. But then, I found out that EA had stupid password requirements - such as the need to have one uppercase letter. If I had known that, I wouldn’t have had to have gone through so hassle.
In short, fuck you, EA. I wish I could have stuck to Steam.
