A slight redesign of one of my current D&D characters.
Isha-Kan loved her wife Melina more then life itself. Together they were pirates terrorizing the merchant and slave ships belonging to the oppressive government.
The pair were soon enough infamous enough to warrant intervention the local lords. Slowly having spies infiltrating the pirate crew, a mutiny was instigated. Melina was killed first and thrown over board, Isha tried to jump after, but it was too late, the undercurrent had pulled her wife away and she was never seen again.
Berived by sorrow and rage, she called out to the ocean and the darkness for vengeance. Something answered. Something from the depths offered to help in return for future service, she took the offer.
Instantly a maelstrom opened up under her hijacked ship and swallowed it whole.
Days later when she finally reached land, she found nothing less then Melina’s signature blue cloak washed up on the shore, Isha took this as a sign from her dead wife that she had made the right decision. In a way, she needed to believe that.
Sustaining permanent injuries from the fight, she now uses a cane to help her walk more comfortably.
Isha-Kan is a Genasi Dark-Pact Warlock
