YOUR PARASITE ASSIGNMENT IS:
Haemadipsa interrupta!!!
This is a species of terrestrial leech, rather than the aquatic ones some of us may be used to seeing. Named for the dashes along its dorsal axis, these leeches often live on the floor of moist forests in the Malay Peninsula. In order to feed on their prey, they rapidly pursue them, latching onto their feet and drinking their blood.
Hello! I love your story ❤️ so I have a lot of questions!
1 OH was T's real bonded but Yesenia messed with Fate and tricked everyone into believing she is their bonded one, MC instead is Cadmus/Atticus bonded, and not T's right?
2 So if MC and T had the ceremony wouldn't it end up the same of Yesenia/T?
3 Do N and S have a bonded one? Does everyone have their own bonded one?
4 Are the concubine and the father each other bonded?
5 Since falling in love with someone who is not your bonded is possible, what it entails being someone bonded?
6 even the Emperor/Empress think Yesenia is Lady Anaya's daughter? If not why choosing a nobody to be with the crown heir and not the real noble heir (OH), was it Yesenia's doing again? Do the Emperor, Empress and T, never questioned some of their strange/illogical actions when it cames to Yesenia?
7 how many people can Yesenia control/manipulate their minds-memories at the same time? Does she has specific conditions to respect to use her powers? Once it's done, does she still needs energy to mantain the brainwashing? Or only while she is manipulating the minds? Does she needs to enforce the manipulation after some time, or it's permanent and the victim cannot break free without Yesenia intervention?
8 the will states that MC once of age will inerit everything, but when MC died who was going to inerit, Ragriel? So could MC throw everyone out in the streets Imperial palace once they have control of the house? Could MC already throw the servants out?
9 how old was MC in our world (more or less like early-mid twenties to early-mid thirties)? How many years until MC is of age in the OH's world?
10 will MC regain all the OH's memories?
11 Will it be possible for MC to try to make them pay or make the OH's family and the Imperial family "harmless" (so to take the revenge paths) not much to get revenge but because MC knows they'll try to get rid of them again, so basically to reach the goal of surviving?
Sorry for the many questions! I know that many are probably spoilers so feel free to ignore them!
Hiya ❤️❤️
Question One:
Yes, it’s very important to note that even though the body the MC inhabits resembles the MC more than it should, the MC and the OH are two entirely different souls. T is the OH’s true bonded, while the MC is the true bonded of Cadmus and Atticus.
Question Two:
It wouldn’t have turned out that way, because of the emotional debris that still lingers within the body. You could almost say that 25% of the OH still exists inside it. Even though the OH has been sent off for reincarnation, a part of them refuses to move on—their regret is too strong.
Question Three:
S and N each have their own true bonded, and that person is the Original Host (OH). In truth, the OH is highly favored by the Goddess of Fate and Bonds because [REDACTED]. In incredibly rare instances—about one in a billion—a person can be destined to four or even five individuals at once. The OH is one of those rare cases, a soul so uniquely entwined with others that their bonds defy the natural order.
Question Four:
I believe I answered question four earlier, but yes—Isuara is Ragriel’s true bonded. However, because of the oath Ragriel took two hundred and fifty years ago, the Goddess of Fate and Bonds refuses to acknowledge the bond between him and Isuara. And though you didn’t ask, it’s worth mentioning: Lady Anaya’s true bonded was actually the Emperor.
Question Five:
Once two souls are bonded and have taken their vows beneath the gaze of the Blood Moon, absolute loyalty becomes mandatory. Cheating—whether emotional, physical, or spiritual—is not limited to sex; any form of betrayal can lead to the destruction of one’s soul, preventing it from ever reincarnating again. One cannot bring harm to one’s other half; to do so is to doom one’s own soul to destruction as well. In some cases, if one’s bonded dies, the one left behind may descend into madness, fall into depression, or slip into a deep sleep—only to awaken when their bonded returns to the same world. There is more to it, of course, but that is what I recall off the top of my head.
Question Six:
Number six ties directly to Yesenia. Roughly ten decades ago, Yesenia and her mother sought an audience with the Emperor. Given Yesenia's foresight—she became an indispensable piece. For instance, she knows how Artilius will eventually unite the four lands and defeat the Sovereign of Death—Cadmus. She also holds the truth behind the fog’s origin in Vathilia. So no, they don’t question their illogical actions when it comes to her. They never have.
Question Seven:
Let’s start with the price she’ll have to pay—Yesenia’s payment is actually her soul. She can manipulate up to a thousand people at once, but that’s only possible because of a special item she has. That item allows almost everyone to fall under her spell. The only ones she can’t touch, no matter how hard she tries, are N, S, C, and A.
Also, just by being in the MC’s presence for thirty seconds, the threads of manipulation she’s embedded in people—yes, even with the help of her item—start to loosen. I don’t know if any of you are planning to try and get all three endings for the Welcoming Ceremony, but if you go the Lurian Fruit path, there’s a moment where T’s threads start loosening and Yesenia has to reel them back in.
In a way, since this fake timeline was created by Yesenia, she’s almost like a god here. She’s never low on Runic Energy either—remember, the person who gave her the item is actively nurturing her soul for eventual consumption.
But when you really think about it… her threads aren’t that strong if A and C were able to sneak in undetected. That said, she doesn’t feel the need to enforce control constantly—this is her territory after all.
Question Eight:
Yes, if the OH dies, then Ragriel inherits everything—and that would mean the oath between him and Lady Anaya becomes void. The MC could inherit, but it’s not immediate. It’ll take time.
The truth is, Lady Anaya knew her child would die. She knew another soul would eventually take over that body. That’s why there’s actually a second part to the oath, one that Ragriel has no idea exists. Only the MC can see that fine print.
There are three favors the MC will have to complete before they’re allowed to inherit anything. And yes—you will absolutely be able to throw out those unruly servants when the time comes.
Question Nine:
Somewhere within that range, but I was aiming for twenty-eight. The MC will come of age in about four to five months, give or take.
Question Ten:
Yes, but as the story progresses, I’ll be adding memory shards for the OH here and there. For example, T made a promise to the OH years ago—one they never fulfilled.
Question Eleven:
And the final question... Of course, whichever path you choose, your MC will be able to take revenge. I can’t write a damsel in distress character—blame me for that one. But honestly, it all depends. The imperial family has done a lot of terrible things, so even if they’re T’s parents, if your MC chooses to be with T, it’s nearly impossible to just sit back and do nothing. But yes, we can call it self-defense. After all, your MC is simply trying to complete their mission.

No need to apologize—sending such a long ask shows you’re actually combing through every plot point I’ve tossed your way, and that gave me a real motivation boost. I think I’ll be writing today, lol. Hopefully, my response tied up all your questions. Thanks for the ask 🫶.
Soooo I think I'm starting to realize that. Maybe I'm not the original host? Because. Shit just doesnt connect right if I am? Idk. It's all real weird right now, but theres just a part of me that's like, um that doesn't make sense if I've been host this whole time. But I think I've been host since like maybe late elementary school. Maybe? Idk. Just wanted to rant lol. Any advice is welcome to dealing with that, but if shits too stressful, please ignore. Love you!! Stay safe!
As someone who is also not the original host but now the long term and probably permanent host (at least to current plans), I relate with that. To be honest though, I’ve spent the past two years particularly adjusting to and accepting that I am not the original host but now the host and with memory issues its kind of hard to really remember the specifics of what really helped, but I suppose in regard to dealing with it...
1) Remember that while it may sometimes feel weird to think you are “borrowing” someone else’s life or something similar (at least it did for me), you are now the one that has to regularly deal with this life and the one that is out the most often. Even though this technically didn’t start as your life, it is now and due to the nature of the fact you are out the most, it is important to make the life something you personally enjoy. It is important to sometimes throw aside tendencies that might have come from “not-being-the-host” in terms of typically putting up with discomfort since “its not my body and I can switch back” and make sure that generally you can spend most of the time comfortable and most of the tasks you do align with what you want specifically.
Sometimes I used to find a lot that I would ignore a lot of my needs out of habit of not being the host and under the general habit of “When I stop fronting I can have a break from this” and often would run myself into a wall forgetting that due to the increased amount of time out and responsibility over this life I have that I do have to make myself a priority and work with the system to help do so.
2) Work to find things in this life that ground you if you sometimes feel too detatched from the life you are now host of. Personally I had a lot of issues with this and I found that engaging in more hobbies and relationships with individuals did help this more.
3) Try not to think about it too much / over think it. Sometimes thinking about too much of the nature of not being the original host can be distressing and depressing, and unless someone in the system finds an immediate problem with it, I would recommend to just try not to think too much on it since it can add a lot of unnecessary stress that you don’t really have much you can do about it.
There would probably be more, but those are probably three of the main important things off the top of my head I would have given myself when I was first realizing that 1) I am the host and 2) Realizing I am not the original host and how that affects my self care and so on.
