First album with Pepper back on Vocals since 2005’s In The Arms Of God and I was pleasantly surprised to hear quite how good his vocals still were. This album sounds like the production of Wiseblood, fantastic clarity but still with that muddy southern rock vibe to it. It really is a great album after listening to the first two sides I was really enjoying it, I think it was “Wolf Named Crow” that had a stoner feel to it and I could see maybe The Sword covering it. Anyway, really happy with this release and I’m praying they tour the UK with it!! 🤘

California was badass! Mainly because of all the original pressings of Metallica albums I found, and one Misfits album as well. Also, came home to find my Metallica book was waiting in the mailbox for me! I'm almost broke but it was worth it.
