Happy Chaos seems fascinated with demihumans and vampires more than Gears. Although, would he be interested in the Valentines and their potential? They are in the middle of Gears and Humans, even slightly similar to Demihumans given their origins, though not entirely.

This is the same man who created the "Universal Will" (a.k.a. Merciless Apocalypse), who is fundamentally SUPERIOR to your average Valentine.

I doubt he has much interest in the Valentines, though it is his fault that Justice was copied and manipulated.

And he did have some influence over Ariels when she tried to kill Ramlethal.

How does Bedman's abnormal IQ level compare to Happy Chaos'? When Chaos mentioned Bedman, he sounded genuinely impressed by Bedman's feat of becoming a multidimensional being. Oh and by the way, when becoming a multidimensional being, does it mean Bedman ascended to a higher plane of existence?

Officially speaking, it was said that the Original Sage was a natural-born gifted Genius with an "Immeasurable I.Q.", studying Advanced Physics and Mathematics from a very young age.

Meanwhile, Bedman (according to himself) is at a "minimum" of over 200 I.Q., though even he is said to border on Inhuman intelligence, though he is more known for his high-speed ability to process information while in a deep sleep state. (Jam Kuradoberi compares Bedman's state to "merging with the flow of existence", while Kum Haehyun says he is a "fixed component" and cannot be Tuned/adjusted).

While this information does not account for their intelligence "before" and "after" entering the Backyard, it does give a glimpse at what sort of criteria might be necessary to exist in the Backyard.

It was because of the way both Bedman and Delilah's brain-speeds were "unable to function in the normal world" that they ended up having to use the Backyard in order to continue existing, though even that was tenuous, since Bedman effectively "erased himself" from the Backyard's records (though Jack-O' supposedly recovered what remained of Bedman's information prior to Strive's events).

If Bedman's "information" was recovered, or even analyzed by Jack-O'/Delilah, or even the idea that his existence is muti-dimensional, then it's hard to say if his supposed "death" is real or not.

I said this before, but Delilah has the same powers as Bedman, in that, she has the power of Deja-Vu which can reverse the "state of death" if one was "witnessed" before they died (as that Memory becomes a starting point for Deja-Vu, somewhat like a "Save Point" in RPGs).

Even if Bedman's existence was no longer "tangible" in other Dimensions at this point, it might still be possible for his "information ID" along with the "Memory" of his existence, to bring him back... somewhat like how Zato=ONE and Eddie were brought back from Death, though the result might be similar to Zato's "blank slate" if one is not careful.

For now, unless we get more information, there isn't much we can come to conclusions on.

I know he is bored most of the time but why is Happy Chaos kind of clumsy when he is fighting in gameplay?

When you spend 100+ years in the belly of a Robot's Prison of your own creation, you aren't exactly doing arts and crafts in your spare time.

In all the time he was trapped by the Universal Will, he probably didn't have much opportunity to learn how to "fight" or "defend" himself.

Though, being immortal and insanely powerful means you at least learn "a few" things.

And in his case, he also got a major dose of the Human Condition, and that transformed him in to a freak of nature.

All the Omniscience Mankind's Vast Mass-Subconsciousness and Emotions could afford him, and unconscious supernatural reflexes to go with (given his un-skill with a gun).

Even HE is surprised he can do what he can do (most of the time)!

It's somewhat like what happened to Neo in the Matrix... having "infinite knowledge" jacked directly in to his brain.

Did Sol know anything about Asuka's connection to the Sage prior to his conversion into a Gear?

As of Guilty Gear Begin’s novel, Frederick was actually excluded from much of the research that took place.  When talking to Viidia about it, Frederick refers to himself as an “outside contractor” employee.

And while he did know a few of the staff besides Asuka and Aria (like Vince MacDonell who was the head of research, above Asuka), Vince himself was more like Asuka’s observing superior, as he had no immediate connections with the Original Sage/Chronus like Asuka did.

It also seems that Dustin Barrie (a visiting scientist) came to see the results of Asuka’s research and knew a bit more about it, but ended up getting caught in the incident along with the others... rather, he seems to take a suspicious interest in Frederick’s body, after it’s discovered Frederick can heal from near-fatal wounds (Frederick was already a Gear by that point, but nobody knew this).

Sigh, don’t remind me that I need to finish Chapter 3... I’ll get to it eventually.

Was the Original Sage the only one that created The Universal Will or did he have help?

Based on what Asuka said, only the Original was in the Backyard when he first created the Universal Will.

This seems to have happened before the rest of mankind understood the basics of Magic, so it’s not possible for anyone else to have been involved at that time.

Does Happy Chaos have the ability to tamper with time or have some form of time travel more or less? He does recall meeting Axl Low in 2192, if I'm right, and somehow he was able to send a message to Axl Low in XRD, trusting him to deliver it to Asuka, regarding the events related to the Conclave.

Those events may not necessarily be related to any such power.

While it's true he has a strong connection with I-No, there's currently not evidence that he himself tampered with the Timeline like she has.

Also, because of what Axl Low explained previously, any changes to the Timeline erase the previous one, so there would be more evidence to indicate it.

Most likely it's the case that the "Sage" in 2192 that met with Axl and gave him that coded message to Asuka is not the same "person" as Happy Chaos.

The reason I can say that is because prior to Axl Low's involvement, the timeline took a different result (related to the Universal Will defeating mankind via the Valentines).

This is the "drab future" that I-No encountered (the one where Sol Badguy's power encroached him, turning him in to a giant Gear, Sol was actually "taken" to that future to see it himself by I-No, in Xrd Sign's events, but because he didn't know how to process seeing a giant version of himself, she sent him back).

Most likely Happy Chaos did not "exist" in that Timeline, but was somehow a "phantom" of the Sage who was outside of the Universal Will's influence.

But because of both I-No and Axl Low's interference of events, the Timeline changed and the result created Happy Chaos.

Since I-No had access to that "bad future" she was able to transfer that information to Happy Chaos himself.

That's why he could say he "met Axl" in the future, despite not being as himself in that era.

Or, alternatively, I-No's powers simply retained the ability to recall memories from other timelines, which is something that perhaps Happy Chaos inherited from her power.

Later on, in Strive's events, it's revealed that I-No saw Sol's fate in 2192, and relayed that information to Asuka in addition to the message he received from the Sage.

As a result, Asuka resolved himself to remove the Flame of Corruption from Sol's body, to save his life before the encroachment would occur (which is why Sol says "mind your own business" to Asuka).

So, if Axl Low hadn't relayed that message, Happy Chaos would never have been created in an absolute sense (well, technically he existed INSIDE the Universal Will, but he was never pulled out in any previous timeline by I-No herself).

This is also why I-No says that what she's doing is "Creation" not "Destruction" when she speaks to Ariels just prior to pulling Happy Chaos out of her body.
