Oh they hurt my heart
Context: Fay and Horologue met a few months after Fay became a Prime. Horologue's intention was to get close to the Primes in order to gain information and subvert their efforts, and to make sure these new Primes had their internal clocks (friend's lore).
By the time Fay found out about his intentions, the two had mutual romantic feelings toward each other, but stayed apart since Horologue was loyal to his family/organization. Horologue went back to his planet to participate in a fight for heir succession. After successfully killing his brother, Horologue suddenly faltered, feeling a sharp pain in his spark.
Little did he know, Fay had sacrificed herself to restore Cybertron. In his moment of realization that she was gone, Horologue was slain. He never got to see the Cybertron Fay wanted to give him.
Still working on their story, but they make me hurt so much.
