THE SANTAIRS: YOU AND YOU AND YOU AND YOU [432Hz]
I composed a short tune about a warm and inviting inn at the center of a forest. There, a big pot of soup is always ready, the fireplace is always lit, warm dry clothes are ready when you need them, a nice hot bath is available, and you can sleep as long as you need in a simple but comfortable room with a lovely bed.
About 10 days ago, a friend lend me her old mandolin. I just thought I’d give it a try, since it is quite similar to the fiddle; the tuning is the same and I do pluck my fiddle a lot, when I’m in a session. To find out the key or to figure out the tune. It’s going quite well. I’m not a virtuoso or anything, but I’m getting better.
I still have to get used to the frets and where to put my fingers ideally and develop the muscle memory for that. Also, I don’t always pluck the right string yet. But I can’t expect to be perfect after 10 days. I don’t practise an awful lot, sometimes, I just play three tunes and put the mandolin away. But apart from yesterday, I have played every day for a bit.
Above is a tune I came up with yesterday. Not sure if it classifies as a polka or a reel.
Be warned, it sounds quite raw, because I’m only a beginner and because my phone doesn’t record great quality.

Anyone composing cello film score? I need it for an independent no budget short film about childhood, nostalgia and growing up. (Credits are given to you at the end of the film.) Write me. Pretty please. :)
