Been really busy lately, and yes, finally OBC’s judgement day came.
So, here are the few things that I have learned from 2015′s Viper Challenge.
1. First of all, Original Bootcamp have trained me well. The 2 months training was my best investment ever for my fitness. I ran 80% of the time and have managed to complete nearly most of the obstacles. Without OBC conditioning, I would have been dead by now.
2. Leading a group of people is what I think the most challenging part of the event. I tried my best to keep everyone involved and I am happy that everyone made it. Sure we finished in 7 hours and I missed a couple of hours on my Stanford course, but as Viper Challenge said, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, we do it together". And thats what we did.
3. I didn't manage to do 4 obstacles. The rings, the balance beam, the bad plumbing and the last ramp. I'll have to conquer that next year. Better, stronger, faster next year. I'll be a ninja.
4. I really need to bulk up. Was that a girl running?
5. My favorite obstacle was the incline wall. It takes great teamwork to make it through together. And we did it in style. Thanks to @rajahmed78 for scolding us on the walls haha
