Where does regret lie, if it is just a thin station? Admittedly, he’s done traumatizing things and yet somehow — he changes the channel in an instant switch, locking up regret somewhere deep along with what some call 'despair.' But he’s beneath despair — there’s not strong enough word for the demonic emotions he treasures up in that tickin’ bomb that’s his 'mind.'

—— Take note, there’s now a clear hole in the damaged brother’s heart.He can’t — even say that Elijah’s heart was hole, either. Nik had unintentionally made sure that he’d taken his piece of his elder brother’s heart long time ago. Held it for ransom as Elijah dauntlessly and obscenely attempted to gain it back, to create a whole ‘heart’ for himself. But Nik’s actions just simply kept taking pieces and pieces as their other brother’s began to die because of Klaus’ actions.

Klaus had — unintentionally, drained the blood ov’ that part he’d taken from Elijah so ‘nough that it’s been dying. And on some occasion — the hybrid fed it, gave it a glimmer ov’ life, all ‘till he’d once more relentlessly beaten it back to it’s dying stage.

As clear as his violence may be, and as much as the hybrid tends to decline this assumption —— there is no lying to himself. He’s trying, very much — trying. The broken necks — spilled blood in his brother’s name — demolished furnishings and half ov’ New Orleans in panic of yet another loose fire.

There’s no denying it, not to himself, not when his hand touches at the center of where his heart resided. A part ov’ him —— had just stopped working. Because when ‘Lijah left —— he took something to fill his own heart with him.

Currently, Klaus only wields the part ov’ ‘Lijah that he had been searching for, slowly, surely, dying away.
