"Right, right, but what about the summon spirits? Have you met them? I've only met the one, Ratatosk, but that didn't exactly end well..." He rubs the back of his head. He's had a lot of questions for Kratos since he'd met him, and now he finally got the chance!

...at least he hopes the other knows he's not Emil, now. He has his notebook at the ready, almost as if he was interviewing Kratos. Lloyd had told him that his dad might have some interesting information for him, so he just had to follow up on that lead.

"But it's all right, it's fine now. It's just, there's a lot I couldn't learn at the academy, so I'd be fascinated to hear some of it from you! My primary research was in summon spirits and history, but I'm sure I'd be fascinated with anything you could share with me, Mr. Aurion!"

Lilith screeches in pain as she falls, hands grasping desperately at the ground to try to pull herself free. This was a mistake. He's far more powerful than she'd anticipated.

"Zelos... that bastard. He stuck his nose where it didn't belong-- saw fit to step in on matters that are none of his business." her face contorts in pain as she tries to get away.

"I killed a child he was apparently quite protective over, and he saw fit to kill me in return. I don't need your judgement, either; the child is the daughter of someone who's wronged me. That's all. This doesn't concern you, either."

"If you kill me, I can't guarantee I won't retaliate. Lloyd isn't safe-- neither is Kay, or Zelos. And if there are others you hold dear, I'll find them."

“What do you want from me?!” It’s hard to move, hard to breathe, for flowers. The vines and thorns she loves so much have turned against her, and the pitiful amount of magic she’s been given doesn’t allow her any control over them.

She’s resorted to just facing him, her thorn whip looking almost like an extension of her flower-covered body. The dagger she’d taken from the forge is still holstered on her belt.

“Why aren’t you saying anything?! If you want to kill me, at least give me the dignity of an answer.” She knows the nature of the flowers, by now. Whether he resists them or not, it’ll at least buy her a few moments more.

“What have I ever done to you?”

“I’m not going to lie, Kratos.”  An innocent whistle.  “That was preeee---tty clever.”  Zelos wasn’t stupid by no means, surely Kratos would know what the man was referring to.

“A situation most fowl, for certain.  I prefer my gander cooked though.”
