will you pls tell me about the one-shot you ran with hello (my baby girl) in it? 🥺
for some context the campaign was a series of oneshots each run by a different dm (six oneshots with 3 dms, so we did two each) and mine was the third in the order. i wanted to flesh out the world a little more so the oneshot was centered around an art festival!! and what better art piece to put at the center of this festival than the wonderful wonderful Hello (who I named Beth in this version just for fun).
The plot of the oneshot was that the players met Beth/Hello at the start (who nodded and said Hello to everyone she met). Later on during the festival, the players overheard two members of a local mob smuggling something away from the festival. after some battle, turns out they were stealing what seemed to be a smaller version of Beth/Hello!
After the battle they returned Beth/Hello to her creator, who revealed that not only could she grow and shrink at a single command, she also doubles as essentially a bag of holding (as in, you can put things in the hole at the top of her column/her 'face' essentially). from there you could ask her to take that stuff somewhere else for you and she'd deliver it safe and sound! unfortunatelyyyy she was commissioned for the main antagonist family of the campaign, but it's not her fault what she's asked to do
she was a really fun addition to the game and appeared a little bit later too to help one of the antagonists cheat at a food eating competition (it was a very silly and fun campaign) and in that oneshot we also had a battle in the bag of holding part, which was a really fun setting for a fight to take place!
all in all i'm super glad I added her :D she's my absolute favorite art piece and I really wish I could see Hello in person!!
