16. A pickup line from my character to yours.
For all the noise and cramped quarters of camp some nights, Fili was beginning to enjoy herself on the journey to reclaim Erebor alongside her uncle, brother, and various other Dwarves with whom they were connected or acquainted. It was pleasant, most nights, until she felt as though she had to seek solace away from the men and have some time to herself, but more often than not she joined in on their conversations and activities with gusto.
Nights when they were in a town and able to stay at an inn were particularly pleasant, and the young she-Dwarf was quick to make sure that she was a part of any drinking and games that occurred. The younger Dwarves seemed to find their way to their own table - Fili sitting with Kili as well as Bofur, Nori, and Ori - and it took little to no time at all until a game of 'truth or dare' was offered. It was a silly game that Nori had apparently picked up in a tavern from a group of humans, but it was fun none the less especially once they'd had enough ale. It was as humiliating as it was amusing, especially when Ori excused himself to make a run to the loo leaving Fili to be dared by Bofur.
"I dare ye to drop a line on wee little Ori."
She shrugged as she huffed a blonde lock from her face. It was simple enough, she supposed, though Fili was very poor at such things with how often she avoided men who tried to use them on her but a dare was a dare, and no heir to Durin was going to back down from such a trivial thing. As soon as he returned, the entire table sipped their ales though eyes watched the golden haired she-Dwarf expectantly. Sighing, she leaned over towards Ori, brushing his hair from his ear for her lips to graze it ever so slightly as she grinned and whispered:"What d'you say to mining my cave tonight, Ori?"
