Scavengin’ Spanna
A kunnin’ and Mork-fearin’ Mekaniak like any of his kind, Durthank is a Mekboy who belongs to that most unique order of itinerant nomad-mechanics known as Spannas (not that he’d know what half of that sentence meant). Always on the move from one fight to the next, every Spanna dreams of the day he finally finds his prophesied pile of scrap, whereupon he will happily hurl himself into it and commence the construction of his Mek Shop, his life as a nomad complete. They are almost never seen without an entourage of Lootas or Burna Boys, the two kinds of ork whose nose for findin’ gubbins can’t be beat, either because they want to nick it (in the case of the former) or they want to cut it apart and weld it back together again in new, amusing ways (in the case of the latter).
The great migrations of the Spanna Meks are truly a wondrous sight to behold, the mekaniaks and their (somewhat) loyal retainers going from scrap pile to scrap pile, cobbling new weaponry and vehicles out of what remains, always seeking the one true junk heap. Durthank, as an Evil Sunz boy, has an advantage unique to his kin – getting to the gubbins ded speedy-like, what with red bein’ faster an’ all. He still dreams of the day he can finally settle down to the life of a Mek Shop Mekaniak, able to bully his oiler grots in whatever way he pleases – for now, he settles for giving his ammo snotling a good booting when he’s bored.
We’re not sure why a kustom mega-blasta, ostensibly an energy weapon, needs bullets. But such is the nature of ork technology.
