Ornithodesmus was a small dromaeosaurid from the Isle of Wight in England, about 125 million years ago, between the Barremian and Aptian ages of the Early Cretaceous. It is only known from scattered remains, which were briefly thought to be a pterosaur, but later has been found to be a small theropod. It was probably a carnivore, though we don’t know much about this animal, given that for years all fossils called Ornithodesmus were in fact from pterosaurs.
