“it’ll still be fun dear, promise.” Orochi said, hoping she would just go with it…he was scared enough of asking her to begin with.
Mercy stared at him for a bit. It was mildly amusing that she intimidated him; she liked a healthy level of fear in a man. But eventually she had to stop messing with the poor thing. "I guess I can go. Can't I wear something a little less girly though at least?"

“Eh?” The woman in question looked up at the sound of her name. Prom? What the heck was prom? Then she faintly remembered a blue invitation she had seen going around for something called that. She tried to recall what exactly was written on there—
“Wait, are you asking me out on a date?” She eyed Orochi suspiciously before shrugging. “Don’t expect me to get all dressed up for it.”
