Indy Hangover, Orphanage of Fear and 24 Hour Game Design Contest Entry
This past week was the Games and a Curry’s Indy Hangover. It wasn’t bad for a first time convention. I got in a few playtests with other designers, won a game, and had an enjoyable time in a surprisingly interesting location. I also handed out a few copies of Orphanage of Fear for review, which I was thrilled to do. The nice demo copies I got from Print and Play production are going over well.
On that note, I’d like to announce that next month, September 27th, I will be launching Orphanage of Fear on Kickstarter. I’ll be working more towards the launch until then, but now, just for a little while, I’m going to indulge in something else.
If you’ve followed this blog you might remember me posting about making a game for the 24 hour game design competition over on Board Game Geek. Well, I posted it Monday morning. The name of the game is Wedding Party: The Desperate Attempt to Prevent Murder. It’s a short, simple two player game about arranging seating for irritable guests while trying to avert disaster. You can find the alpha version here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/azuuyeb9itn7kl9/Wedding%20Party.pdf?dl=0
