Behind the hedge of wild fuchsia, descendants of Dora, the orphan lamb I raised in this valley. She lived to the grand old age of thirteen and had twins or triplets every year, right to the end. Meet Cooper! (Not a very Icelandic name, but hubby picked it and it’s important to keep him happy as well. I like it.) I went out this morning with 5 ounces in a bottle and came back with 2, so he definitely drank some. Maybe lambs don’t feed with the same single-minded focus I am accustomed to from goats.
