A starter for @orpheussummon
One had to wonder what two underage girls were doing in there. It wasn’t that they weren’t supposed to, or that it was illegal, but there was an almost unspoken rule that children (read as: Anyone under 18 years-old) shouldn’t be allowed in such a place, not without their parent’s permission.
On one hand, Minako’s parents were deceased, and on the other, Mitsuru’s parents were so important, that the Kirijo name was enough for her to reserve the table for two people, with no questions asked... But nothing could save both of them from the usual glances other adults gave them when they saw them together. Usually, she’d ask Minako to come with formal clothes, but due to the time they left Student Council in the evening, Mitsuru had to have both of them arrive in Gekkoukan High School uniform... A clear indication they weren’t adults.
Mitsuru was making an effort not to look, even if she could feel their glances. “If you are uncomfortable, Arisato... I’ll understand, and there’s no problem re-scheduling. It was my idea, after all, to bring you here to eat dinner...” And apparently, a bad one, but she’d take the blame for that.
“I know it’s not... easy to think of this dinner as a ‘surprise’...”
