(Full time work and masters level classes are absolutely brutal. I’ll be back hopefully on Friday. But side note, Makoto looked so fucking cute in the P5R opening. The game can’t come out fast enough.)
Akira (mask-0f-rebelli0n):
“It’s no problem for me. Rest up, we have all day to hang out. We can go out once you’re all ready. Besides, the arcade isn’t going anywhere.”
He walked her out of her room and into her living room, placing her onto the couch so she could catch a few more Zs if she needed to. “Any special requests for breakfast, Makoto?” If there was none he’ll just have to make do with what she had in her fridge, Or he can always get breakfast delivered.
“No, I should get up and start getting ready.” She was so warm in the blankets though, and her eyes felt exceptionally heavy. Maybe she just needed some coffee in her system and then she’d be right as rain to go out. She sat up on the couch, making sure that the blanket was still wrapped around her.
“Coffee?” She sounded hopeful, wanting that burst of caffeine so maybe they could actually go out and continue with the plan that they had initially come up with. “Food wise, just something on the healthier side, please.”
Minako (orpheussummon):
“Yeah, that must be hard!” Minako sympathizes. “If it helps any, I’m a transfer too! I started her back in the spring, but…I guess I’m kind of used to moving around a lot.”
The younger girl chuckles awkwardly, offering Makoto a warm smile. “I don’t think I could stay in one place for more than a year now, though! So it isn’t so bad. If you want, I could probably introduce you to Mitsuru and Akihiko Senpai, they’re both upper classman! Hey, maybe you’re in one of their classes! But it might help you make some friends…if you dont have any already!”
Minako was blushing furiously now, she just realized that she had assumed that Makoto..had..no friends..oops!
“Why are you used to moving?” She couldn’t imagine being used to moving around. Just once and she was already hating everything. Honestly, at this point, she was glad that she had almost made a friend in Minako. She was used to being alone, but this was worse than usual, the loneliness creeping in.
“You have friends that are upperclassmen?” She asked, a little surprised. Then again, friendships didn’t typically stick within one age. “If you don’t mind doing that... I really... don’t have many friends here.” Or any, really. Transferring in at her age meant that most people had friends and didn’t really open up their friendship circles for others.
Fuuka (tacitusauxilium):
Fuuka was a bit relieved to have someone be on her side, that wasn’t from the Shadow Operatives–it was breathing in clean air for once. “Well, my hair will take care of me standing out more than hiding in said crowd.” She laughed softly as she played with her hair, moving it behind her shoulder. Fuuka crossed her arms, nodding slowly at Makoto’s friendly suggestion. “I appreciate that, Makoto. I don’t have many friends around here and…having someone like you around puts me at ease.”
She was happy that she didn’t have to make the first move in becoming friends–she was never strong at making friends by herself. Fuuka could sense the goodness, and justice, inside of Makoto’s heart–something she could resonate with. “I will keep my eye on the principal, if I ever do see him. He seems like someone who doesn’t want to be in the public eye. But,” Fuuka uncrossed her arms and her eyes shot down to the paint chipping on the wall next to her, “I want to see the good in people. Hopefully he will change my mind. A-anyway, I didn’t meant to get all serious!”
Fuuka put her hands up, shaking them back and forth, her cheeks a dark pink. “My old friends are always serious and it’s…odd not having to be around them–I feel more relaxed being here so far.”
She felt quite bad when she said that her hair made her stand out. She never understood what that was like, standing out for other reasons that weren’t based on her looks. “I’m glad,” She was always going to try and be there for Fuuka, both as a friend and as the student council president. She just hoped that her other... activities didn’t get in the way of being her friend. She couldn’t tell anyone what she was doing so she might seem like she was avoiding her.
“it’s alright, I’m glad you felt comfortable enough to tell me how you’re feeling. Most people think I’m going to tell a teacher or the principal if they vent to me. Everything you’ve said is safe with me.” She knew that it wouldn’t be always easy to trust her. The words of the students may influence Fuuka, but she hoped that she could keep her as a friend. “Don’t be afraid to get serious with me if you have things on your mind.”
“What were your old friends like?” She asked, wanting to know more about Fuuka. She was glad to hear that she felt more relaxed, but she had no idea why she wouldn’t have been relaxed before.
(Sorry I haven’t done much in terms of replies the past little while. I’ll try to get replies done tomorrow.)

Of all things Akira could have done, she did not expect to be lifted up like that, completely wrapped up in her blankets. She yelped and moved to wrap her arms around his neck to keep from being dropped. “I know that, I just... didn’t sleep much last night.” She hated when stress got the better of her. An inability to sleep took hold and she would pretty much get short cat naps instead of actually sleeping. “I would appreciate it... if you don’t mind,” Her cheeks grew warm and she yawned again, showing just how tired she was.
(THAT MAKOTO CHARACTER TRAILER THOUGH)
(I MANAGED TO FUSE SATANAEL.)
Futaba (sepelire):
Asking the other members of the phantom thieves for help was always a mental dance. Going between they’re your friends! and they probably get tired of you asking for help already! She was determined to avoid falling into her own uncertainty ever again.
“I was just wondering if you wanted to hit the electronic store with me? There’s a game I’m interested in buying, and I need a new router for the house because the one I have now is just old. Like, a year or two old already.”
Her hands dove into her pockets as she voiced her request, fingers fidgeting in secret as a way to at least try to hide the nerves building up inside.
Makoto was a little surprised at the request to go with Futaba to the electronics store, which she assumed was the one in Akihabara. She knew that usually Ren was the one who got those requests, but she was more than happy to help out the younger Phantom Thief if she needed the assistance in going anywhere. What else were teammates for?’
“I’ll be happy to accompany you, Futaba.” She reassured her, a small smile on her lips. “That’s... that’s old for a router?” She didn’t know how long the router at her home had been there. She wasn’t the most knowledgeable with electronics. Perhaps she should ask Sae if they should replace it soon.
Futaba (hikikohacker):
@foundjustice cont from here
Curled into a ball with her smartphone clutched in both hands, small body propped up with pillows - a good number of which she had brought with her - Futaba's face lit up with a cheeky grin. "I brought some Jagariko chips, if you want some? They're a limited edition ham and cheese flavour! Do you have any calpis...?" The yoghurt-based cordial was a summer favourite of the younger girl, but when they were all bundled up in the warm like this, it seemed like a perfect companion beverage regardless of the snow threatening to fall outside.
It was nice to spend time with Makoto - the redhead had initially been sort of wary of the older girl, given her seriousness, but she had come to realise that she was more than the authoritarian she projected, and that her sternness usually came from a good place. She was like an older sister to the Phantom Thieves, and for a girl who has never known siblings, she was a new breed of foil, curious and compelling. Futaba was determined to figure her out.
"What do you wanna watch first?? A movie, or...? Oh yeah, Guldyan: Defender of Justice season three just got a full release on Tuesday! Did you watch the rest yet?"
“Unfortunately not, I can run out before we start and grab some if you’d like.” She would rather avoid going out again, noticing the clouds looming overhead. She knew the snow was going to come rather quickly to her dismay, so if she could avoid putting her coat back on in hopes of avoiding the incoming cold. She had brought up some bottles of water and soda had Futaba wanted some. She hadn’t thought about her summer staple as something she would want though. “I’ll pass on the chips,” She wasn’t going to blow her healthy eating on that, although if there was any chocolate around she might have a taste.
She had been hoping that she could break through Futaba’s walls a little bit more lately. She knew how hard the youngest member of the Phantom Thieves had been working to get out of her comfort zone and she had come so far since they first met her. She was almost a little sister to Makoto, and she wanted to be there for her no matter what. Things would be changing soon for the group, but she didn’t want it to get overwhelming for her.
“I haven’t watched the new season. If you want, we could watch that. Or if there was a particular movie you’d like to watch.” Makoto knew better than to suggest some of her Yakuza files. Might overwhelm Futaba a bit.
Minako (orpheussummon):
“Oh yeah, I heard about those…” Minako tsks slightly, looking sad. “Awful stuff that. I hope that things get solved soon! I cant help but feel for the victims and their families.”
What Minako didn’t say was that she knew what was going on. That she knew what waa causing the lost. That she was working with her team to make it stop. That kind of information was a bit of a secret, right?
“Are you an upperclassman, then? I havent seen you around much, so I figured you might be!”
“They’re horrible. Alive in some sense of the word, but in all other, they’re just a husk of their former selves. Nothing seems to be helping them.” She had been starting to do her own research on these cases, hoping to help her sister and maybe help the victims of it. Maybe there was a way to reverse it.
“Yes. I’m an upperclassman. It’s weird, transferring into a graduating class.” It made it exceptionally harder to make friends amongst her classmates when many of them had known each other for a while.
(FUCKING HELL FINALLY BEAT SHIDO ON THE THIRD FUCKING TRY)
Minako (orpheussummon):
“Makoto Niijima..” Minako repeats the name slowly to get a feel for it in her mouth. It was a nice name!
She reaches her hand out in greeting to Makoto. As bubbly as ever, Minako was excited to be making friends. Sure she had several friends throughout the school, including the SEES team themselves; who was she to deny a new friend?
“Im Minako Arisato, Niijima-san! You can call me Minako, though! Did you recently transfer here?”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Minako-san,” She greeted, reaching to shake her hand as well. Ever since arriving to Iwatodai, she had felt unsettled, but now she almost felt calm around Minako. She already liked her, and hoped that she didn’t make a mess of things due to her slightly serious nature. “I did yes, I transferred here a few days ago. My sister is working to help investigate the Apathy Syndrome cases.” She didn’t know why she stated that, now she felt awkward.
⌚ — i honestly haven’t gotten around to it yet.

“Thanks,” Makoto didn’t do well with new places, but after her sister’s transfer, she had to move out to Iwatodai and her transfer to Gekkoukan had been completed. She knew no one at the school and felt incredibly out of place. She missed Shibuya a lot, and hoped that this transfer wouldn’t be for long. “I’m Makoto Niijima by the way.”
Akira (mask-0f-rebelli0n):
“Try to relax a little around us. Things get tough around our group, but it’s important to take things an easy pace. Plus, you don’t have to be so formal, Makoto.” There was no reason for her to be like this. She’s known the Phantom Thieves for a bit now, you’d think she’d drop the student council prez act she puts up. “But anyway..” Akira places a reassuring hand on her shoulder and shook her a bit. “We’ve got your back if things get too outta hand on your end.”
Makoto was still uncertain about how relaxed she could be, plus habits were incredibly hard to break, especially after they had been so ingrained in her for so long. “I’m sorry,” She swallowed. “It’s hard for me to let my guard down. I was always taught to be formal, and I always had to put up this shield around me because of the position I had at the school. It’ll take me some time to relax a bit more.” She smiled when he said that they had her back too. “I wouldn’t expect anything less from the Phantom Thieves.”
