About me!
Peter Parker once said ‘You don’t trust anyone, that’s your problem.’ But you can trust me.
The first thing people usually notice about me is my vivacious personality, closely followed by my inability to shut up about my husband Rico. (He’s in the U.S. Navy and I’m very proud of him). I love that my husband’s job allows me to be a stay at home wife.
I’m also a Christian and what I like to call a neo traditional enthusiast. So much in my life has changed since I decided to put God first in my life, recommiting to him gave me my husband and all the other good things in my life like my dog Koa, Hawaii beaches I call home, and good ,wonderful loving friends who constantly remind me of the gospel’s promises.
I’m quirky, creative, introverted and a bit messy. When I’m not working as an extra on Hawaii five-o (and Magnum P.I.) I read incessantly, collect rocks, champion reclaiming normal and boycotting picture picture perfect, and browse endlessly on Pinterest. I look forward to sharing sharing with y’all my personal neo-orthodox style, mental health tips, life as a Military Spouse, financial responsibility, and the occasional D.I.Y’s
My life goals include: climb Stairway to Heaven, eat croissants in Paris, and adopt all the strays, kitties, puppies, aliens, children, doesn’t matter.
If you’re searching for an eccentric, yet down to earth blog to read, you’ve found it.
Aloha! Marla
P.S. If you are looking to collaborate shoot me an private message! I love working with new people!
