I got my boot today
One of these:
I had to argue my way to get one for kids, because I am that tiny (the smallest one for adults cut my leg off completely so I couldn’t bend it at all - it was also extremely heavy)
I was told I could start walking when I got it but oh my god, I cannot - muscle atrophy hit me really bad so my foot is like a saggy bag of potatoes
I also got my stitches removed but had to wait several hours because I needed extra care somehow??
Anyway, this boot has to stay on me for several months and I already hate it
«You need to wear this boot until you can walk without pain» *loud groan*
(I did like my nurse, though. He was very sweet and supportive. I was *this close* to bringing him home with me heh)
