Ended up combining my SY advisor (link) and SY PIDW wife (link) AU's

Where SY is one og Bingge's wives and basically running everything trying to take burden off Bingge. Not that's he's ever noticed. He is full on running the realms while LBH is away. People have to stop themselves slipping up and calling SY emperor/empress.

Bingge doesn't notice and SY is just overlooked constantly he tries not to let it bother him, it's fine he's able to fix for things for Bingge he's busy... it's been years and he hasn't even tried to see him once or notice but it's fine. Really it's fine he's fine.

So what if he's the one running the country, and the one who sits by Bingge's bedside when he does get injured (Only he had to leave for 1 moment to sort out a court issue and in that time Bingge woke up alone and called for one of his other wives to fix the issue because of course he was affected by a papapa plot plant) and so what if when Bingge does walk past him he doesn't even look at him. It's fine, SY is fine...

Only then the Bingmei Vs Bingge extra happens. Bingge is laser focused on getting a kind shizun as his empress...

So to clear harem he starts divorcing wives, including SY.

Cue him having to run realms and figure out how this has just broken whose been doing this before? How much of his job have they been doing? What do you mean it was a wife?

He goes to find wife and finds very upset and unhappy SY who is not coming back and refuses a proposal. Bingge having to woo him and slowly realizing he did have a kind Shziun.

He was married to his kind Shziun.

He divorced his kind Shziun.

There is a lot of grovelling after that.

This has probably been done before by someone with more swag than me but SVSSS AU idea:

Shen Yuan is reborn as one of Binghe’s many forgotten wives in his harem, he makes it his mission to divorce this demon emperor no matter what, turns out PIDW has extremely elaborate (and weirdly horny) super fleshed out divorce laws (because a lot of the members of Binghe’s harem were already married or betrothed) that make it impossible for Shen Yuan to divorce the demon emperor, this will not stop him from trying.

Shen Yuan becomes the top expert in divorce law for demons, mortals and cultivators alike! He personally may not be able (yet) to get his divorce (this is airplane’s fault) but he is giving consultations left and right, divorce has skyrocketed and it is all Shen Yuan’s doing!

Binghe is just fascinated by this wife who’s name he doesn’t even remember just getting really in to wrecking other people’s marriages one day all of a sudden, he hasn’t laughed this hard ever really, this silly wife of his is truly a treasure and can make him smile genuinely like he had lost the ability to do.

The demonic cultivator Shen Yuan who spends his time adopting a bunch of little demons. At first he only takes in one orphan demon kiddo, then he ends up with three, five, then there are ten, then those ten grow old enough that his little cottage doesn't have room for them all. So they do what anyone would do: they cast evil spells on a mansion, make its owners desperate to sell it, and buy it for a bargain.

So now Shen Yuan has a huge house! And ten children. And maybe another five that he eventually adopts. And many more who join along the way. And obviously he needs babysitters to look after them while he works, so he hires nannies. And cooks. And servants. And teachers.

Then suddenly everyone is calling Master Shen, they bow down to him, and treat him as if he were a master of a demonic sect. And Shen Yuan doesn't care about reputation! He gets paid more when they think he's important, he gets more jobs, and that means more money to spoil his children!

What he didn't take into account is, of course, that Emperor Luo Binghe would arrive at his doorstep. Having destroyed all the cultivation sects, why did this arrogant cultivator think he would allow that one existed just because it was demonic? Luo Binghe is furious: his harem doesn't interest him, there isn't a kind Shizun out there for him who doesn't have another weak copy of him, and now this arrogant cultivator takes advantage of his absence to form a sect.

But Luo Binghe is benevolent: since the demonic cultivator did nothing to him, he will give this arrogant master a warning to dissolve his sect, or Luo Binghe will have it burned. If he is smart, the arrogant cultivator will know what to choose.

Except that the arrogant black and green-robed cultivator simply completely denies having a demonic cultivation sect, introduces the more than twenty demon-children under his care as his children, and even invites Luo Binghe to stay if he wants to prove that it is actually his family and not a sect.

And honestly, Luo Binghe has never seen such an effort to pretend that a sect is a family, but he can agree to stay. It will be nice to clear his mind. Even if everyone is calling this arrogant cultivator "Master Shen", this Master Shen is... kind, in a way that Luo Binghe doesn't know. Perhaps he should stay longer than a while. In fact, he's not at all sure that this isn't a cultivation sect. Some detail must be escaping him. He definitely has to stay.

Ning Yingying knows her husband is a bad person. She just realized too late. Less than a year into their marriage, Ning Yingying has become nothing more than a bed warmer in a set of seven. She isn’t an assassin like Liu Mingyan or a general like Sha Hualing. She didn’t help Luo Binghe ingratiate and take over a new sect. She wasn’t a conquest of old enemies. She knows that the only care her husband has for her is reliant upon her being a safe, comforting pair of arms to lay in, to comb his hair and nurse his grudges. Already she knows she’ll never be named empress. She doesn’t want to be. All she wants to kill the sick bastard that tore the limbs, tongue, and eye from the man that raised her. She wants to wake up on a firm bed in a bamboo forest, secure in the knowledge that Luo Binghe is dead, and can’t hurt anyone she cares about any more.

So she draws a bath for her husband. He’s sore after another unsuccessful campaign against Yue Qingyuan. He’s already taken out his anger for the day— the jade pass to the water prison still hangs on his belt. Ning Yingying undresses him, flatters him, rubs his shoulders like a docile, doting wife should. She helps him into the bath, grabs the salts and powders from the hutch, and activates the acid. The fire and heat it produces is enough to singe off several inches of her hair, but it does the job. In minutes, there is no more Luo Binghe that can regenerate. Just a nasty pool of foul smelling liquid.

The takeover was far easier than expected. Liu Mingyan doesn’t want the sect destroyed. Sha Hualing and Mobei Jun respect anyone capable of killing Luo Binghe. Little Palace Mistress won’t miss her hands too terribly. Within a day, Ning Yingying became an empress, and within a fortnight she dismantled an empire. She took her Jiu-jiu from that filthy place her own naïveté condemned him to. Huan Hua is little more than a vassal sect to Cang Qiong, its riches going a long way to repair the damages done by its former master. Even so, things can’t go back to how they were. To say nothing of the lives lost, Shen Qingqiu cannot and will not return to his former post. In the end, Ning Yingying does get to wake up on a firm bed in a bamboo forest— only as its master instead of its student. Every year she pulls in droves of children from the muddy roads. She cleans their faces and bandages their scrapes, and tells them there won’t be any more wars. She will make sure there are no more Luo Binghe’s.

I just think it would be extremely funny if Mobei-Jun caught Shen Qingqiu losing his shit on Shang Qinghua in a bout of cumplane-typical, transmigrator-related rage—like I mean throttling him on the floor, fan whacking, full rainbow of insults—and absolutely panicking over it because, for demons, bullying is a very overt display of romantic courtship. And Shang Qinghua is just whining and complaining and writhing and not fighting back and Mobei-Jun’s so scandalized by the sight of it he practically blacks out until he's wrenched them apart.
