Luxlux the Roaring Heiress.

Here we are. This is a game you cannot win. The cards were never in your favor.

Had sudden funny inspiration after watching a video of what other characters would look like as the Roaring Knight. When it got to the end with characters outside Deltarune, I thought that was really funny and decided to challenge myself to turn Luxlux into the Roaring Knight while maintaining her character.

I had a lot of fun abstracting her forms and traits into a shadow of herself while also tying in symbolic shapes.

Outfit is her typical outfit but more flowy and witchy, like she were some fantasy character at some point. Then there is the hole in her chest in the shape of a heart, which reflects her heart locket and destruction of her inner self. Her back is actually torn open and unfurling into her wings like a premature metamorphosis. Her face is masked by floating cards, likely reflecting the inner beings of her head and her lack of identity(and her cartomancy skills). Lastly, the arm is alien to the rest of the form, hanging off and not connected to the main body. It is large, dangerous, and brutal, mirroring her old bionic arm and what it meant to her. Now, if this were in Deltarune or a Deltarune-fangame with my characters, I believe this would be sorta like a bad ending exclusive fight. I think it would be really cool if your actions could save someone and your inactions could doom them. If you failed to save Luxlux, she would die and would becoming the Roaring Heiress---the Heir to a Doomed World.

I feel silly for making this. But I put in effort and leaned into the cringe. The world has enough people who are too afraid to give in to their childish ocs because they are afraid of what others might say. The Roaring Heiress is over the top campy edgesauce and I don't care!

Homestuck Fanspecies concepting and rambling.

For Oblivion Crash Course(my latest MPSFA) I am designing several new species to interact with the humans. The biggest of which being the Kelpies which I have posted previously. Today, I decided to work on what their pet species will be. And here they are! The BANSHEES. My design thoughts coming into this were to come up with a unique way to make a jellyfish species while also incorporating vintage aliens, new concepts to the worldbuilding, and a BIG WRENCH thrown in while maintaining the picture of a BANSHEE. So, I guess I should explain my thoughts for this prototype. I want the Banshees to be like if you took a scoop of space's reflection on the ocean and gave it a body. Their skin and hair are pure darkness but with speckles of bioluminescent light like deep sea fish. IDK how I will be depicting this as what I have here, I am already using for something in comic(Wynn robots). To add something unique to my fanspecies roster, I thought it would be cool if Banshees lacked arms. I'd imagine on their homeworld, they never needed arms as they are extremely good with psionics. But after being adopted by the Kelpies, they got a little jealous of their arms. Or maybe they do it to feel more "whole." In any case, Banshees have special bionics powered by their psionics to create digital yet physical constructs. Honestly, probably like the Lantern Rings from DC now that I think about it. The floaty-ness of the limbs and constructs adds to the ghosty feeling(perfect for the Banshee name). Now onto their bodies! I wanted them to be extremely weak, frail, little babies. I have enough physically strong species(Angels, Kelpies, Titans). So, Banshees have very sensitive eyes and bodies. Their nerves are hyperactive and they are super sensitive to light. Plus, their bodies are almost like jelly or slime---very jiggly and bouncy but can pop if punctured. Lastly for now, they have exposed bones near their naval that act like psionic heat vents. The side bones get very hot and can release steam rapidly as an escape mechanism. They get so hot, it often burns their clothes, so they usually have them exposed.

Onto the clothes shown here! Sun hat and veil for their sensitive skin and eyes. It is shaped like a UFO here to be cute but they probably have other shapes too. The veil is projected digitally so they can interact with technology easier. The outfit shown here is one of their basic outfits---a simple tight top with a control core for the bionics and psionic stuff, a skintight body suit to protect against punctures and protect from sun damage, and then a long skirt. These are all things I have taken from alien sightings across the world and woven into a semi-cohesive fashion. And here comes the BIG WRENCH, they are also inspired by Victorian ghosts and vampires to really sell the Banshee idea. So I'd imagine the higher ranked Banshees would have some really beautiful dresses mixed with all the technobits. Don't wanna ramble too long as not everything is finalized, but I should mention some lore stuff.

Pet species as in they were incorporated into Kelpie society as a working class, usually pilots, engineers, and random technobabblers. Treated pretty well and kept from being preyed upon.

Monogendered species. Appear feminine but they are more agendered. Pronouns WIP but likely adopted from Kelpie society.

Tiers of Banshees like a hemospectrum but based on psionic will, often seen by their size with the lessers being smaller than humans and the greaters being a little taller than Kelpies. (They are still meek regardless of tier).

Their weird culture thing is they are very private about their legs. Seeing their unclothed legs is like seeing them naked. Their legs are their primary method of 'engaging' with each other(like tentacles) as they didn't originally have arms. Like with most all my fanspecies, their private parts are the same as humans due to the influence of the Great Old Makers/Progenitors. They don't need to 'engage' to procreate as they have synthetic methods. I have no idea what would happen if a non-Banshee and a Banshee 'engaged' but it probably wouldn't result in pregnancy. They never had "males" in their society to provide sperm. This is getting weird, but you can't make a homestuck species without getting weird about their sex rituals.

Banshees originate from the Furthest Ring between Horrorterrors and were often feasted upon by them. However, they were rescued by the Kelpies and were able to repopulate in a safer environment. There is now a split between the Kelpie-Banshees and the Void Banshees. If the two were to meet, it would be like a golden retriever meeting a dire wolf.

They really like tea and pastries. They have extravagant tea parties all the time with dancing, electroswing music, and banquets.

IDK what else to say! I kinda just spilled a ton of random info. Still working on them. I want them to be fully fleshed out super early on so I don't have to retcon anything or go on the fly like I did with another species. IDK if there are any fanspecies communities online but I'd love to join one. I have lots of ideas and experience designing xenobiology and storytelling.

Luxlux of Confidence.

Luxlux in a really tight dress and with a new arm. I didn't know what to do with her grub scars. They looked weird under the dress, so I guess her dress has holes cut out for them. Might be a fashion statement, like having a midriff.

Speaking of midriff, Luxlux has a naval AND grubscars. How odd. Wonder what that could mean. There totally aren't unknown subspecies of trolls in OSAL distinguished by minor abnormalities to the status quo.

Blogpost(very venty artist woes): OuroboroSalvation's 2 year anniversary is coming up on March 18th. Looks like I failed to reach 150 favorites by then. While unlikely, I at least want one more favorite so I can hit 140. Anyway, I have a three minute [S] page in the works for the anniversary that I really need to work on. I hate making [S] pages because it exemplifies all my worst skills and it takes a huge mental toll on me. It is so much drawing, so much animation, and it is supposed to be a cool moment. But when I do it, it feels campy and cringe. I recognize I suck at art and animation, but I want to do it, I want to celebrate 2 years even if no one else will. TWO YEARS, 3140 PAGES, 430,000 WORDS. I want it to be worth it one day. I wish so desperately I took art seriously much sooner. I've wasted so much time, so much of my life doing nothing that mattered. I wasn't living and I wasn't dead, I was just going through the motions of life in a foggy abyss without a lantern. I'm pounding on the walls of my younger self's room like that scene in Interstellar, telling myself to stop wasting away and pick up a pencil. Maybe in another universe, I did start sooner. And in that universe, maybe I'm in a good place with my art, seen, known, completely capable of doing what I want to do. But I'm here in this universe, losing the battle to my affliction and completely unprepared for what my bleeding mind wants of me and my future. In brighter news, I bought Adobe Animate because I have an income source now. Up until now, for around 9 to 10 years, whenever I've wanted to animate something(like an [S] page), I've been using a copy Macromedia Flash 8 that I've passed along my computers like an heirloom. Adobe Animate FEELS like Flash 8 but some of it still weird. Hopefully it will help me not have to deal with tech issues and export at a quality more fitting of 2026, unlike the early 2000's jpg artifacting of my previous exports.

Eeriee Mystax, Luxlux's Dancestor.

Eeriee Mystax is Luxlux's dancestor ectobiologically! I don't have much notes on any of the dancestors really as they are quite a bit away. However, I do have some info on Eeriee! Notes on art: Still stuck in an art drought and stuff. Wanna draw what I can't yet. Feels like shackles! I tried to draw Luxlux a few times but I just couldn't. Somehow, drawing Eeriee instead worked out. Outfit is not canon, nor any of her design really until she actually shows up. I do think the outfit is cute, just not the best it could be for her. Notes on character: Eeriee's character is very faint right now because she is so far away in the story. However, I am fairly certain about a few aspects. Namely, where Luxlux rebukes her bloodline and religious importance, Eeriee leans completely into it as a cult leader. Eeriee believes she is descended from one of the Progenitors, the 48 players who made all the universes. She uses this to amass a following, all worshipping her as some form of prophet/god incarnate. And the thing is, it is true! Luxlux and Eeriee are both related to not one but TWO Progenitors. Continued: Debating whether or not to have Eeriee also be a streamer like Luxlux. It would lean a lot darker if I did. While Luxlux's streamer side already has some of the more messy stuff(like people lusting), if Eeriee was a streamer, she would absolutely lean all the way into being sexually appealing and teasing. She would be very manipulative and cold, to an extent IDK if I wanna write it. THUS, I hope to come up with something just as interesting but different. Continued: On a softer side of her character, Eeriee is very motherly. She can be very stern with the others but it is out of love. IDK much about the idea/culture, but I think the "mommy" character-type would fit as she is obviously nurturing but has the flirty elements. She probably does asmr actually... so quite fitting. TwT Continued: Quickfire facts I guess. She uses cardkind but a different deck than Luxlux. She is into bionics and has an extra pair of arms and glowing white eyes as proof. She is 6'9, being taller than young Angels! She is a legend on the bass but is kinda embarrassed about it. Unlike Luxlux, Eeriee is not aromantic leaning and in fact, has a thing for Angels(hence her extra arms in mimicry). Should Eeriee and Luxlux meet, the first thing they would do is battle with their decks(and then Eeriee would scoop Luxlux up). Final: Drawing hurts but my passion keeps me pushing forward. Eeriee won't exist if I give up now. I'm not doing this for myself alone, but for all of them and their right to be real.

Space Aspect Leperchauns

I made these guys and gals in 2024 and never touched them again. Today, I decided to remake them as seen here! They are all based on different art genres and with the broader theme being high art society vampire devilkin. They are named after paintings, artists, and feelings within their genre. HAUS: Bauhaus style. His ability is he can make houses. Like, he is really good at making houses really fast. You'd think that is pretty lame, but clearly you've never had a house built around you or really wanted to have shelter from a meteor shower. GO: Expressionism style. He warps space around him to appear places, move stuff, and more. When he does this, everything looks melted and stretched before snapping into place. MARIE: Cubism style. She can turn anything 2D into a 3D object. This is already pretty cool, but she can pull subjects from photos as a means of teleportation. Very handy! MIN: Minimalism style. She makes stuff smaller! Imagine Jade's planet shrinking as an ability. Min does that. She likes to collect big things and make it small to look at. WANDER: Romanticism style. He has a cane that can teleport himself ANYWHERE. He can also use it on others to send them ANYWHERE. Pretty threatening... but he tends to... wander. RUSH: Futurism style. She is super fast and always moving all the time forever. In a weird way, she can run faster than Wander can teleport. Rush is ALWAYS faster than the competition. BREAKER: Dadaism style. Basically a bard. He is a walking nuclear meltdown collapsing reality. Every step is an earthquake. He can break CONCEPTS around him.

REDSHIFT: ??? style. The Black Queen. Don't mess with her. You cannot predict what happens.

DECO: Art Deco style. She is a seamstress. Also the bellhop/receptionist/owner/cook/every staff member of the Infinite Gallery she runs and has in her pocket. The Infinite Gallery is where the gang lives.

COMEDIAN: Comic style. This is a weird one. She can see the panels of the comic and interact with objects in them. For example, she can peer into a future panel and steal a gun from someone right as that person is supposed to shoot her. Very tricky to deal with.

LINK: Pixel art style. Can capture moments of time and space in a photograph. Works well with Marie.

RUNAWAY: Street arts tyle. You know the bit where someone runs down a tunnel and someone chases after them but runs into the wall? That is what she does. Any scene she paints, she can decide whether it is flat or dynamic and for who. A little scamp with too much power.

TENEBRIMSTONE: Baroque style. Opposite of Min in that he makes things BIGGER. He tends to just do this to himself. However, he does like to make rooms he is in bigger on the inside than the outside so he can fit.

VIEWE: Art Nouvea style. She can see literally everything everywhere all the time. Surprisingly chill about it.

I AM WHATEVER I WISH TO BE: Scribble/sketch style. Complete mastery over his physical form and occupancy of space. After a terrible wound by a rival gang, he has lost his ability to remember what he looks like and has severe memory issues. He is often constantly changing form to accomadate his immediate surroundings. SPIN: Standin for Doc Scratch counterpart. Technically a member of this gang. Has all the abilities of the rest of the gang and then some. Also my face online! Hi! But not the real me. I gotta work on the RAGE gang next. Because ya, I'm going to have all of them.

Mutantblood Luxlux.

Been a bit since I've drawn anything big, let alone a Luxlux love letter piece. But I realized I never drew a mutantblood variant for her in the big hemoswap drawing. So I did it now! Of course, being a mutantblood is not something you just flaunt opening, so she needed a blood to hide under. I believe she would be smart with countermeasures for people prying into her blood such as wearing contacts and maybe even having fake blood on hand. But it would also be funny if she was basically slapping her viewers with the possibility of her being a mutant, without actually stating it, such as with the abundance of red highlights. ----- In other news, I received my diploma for my Bachelor's degree in creative writing. Going to be applying to some marketing degrees for my masters, could get one done within a year apparently. The idea of having my masters at 22 is tantalizing but it is going to be very hard. Especially since I'm working a lot more and have other adult stuff that I struggle with due to my mental. In other other news, cooking up a crazy unique mspfa fanventure. Coming up with a good name is proving difficult. What isn't difficult is writing all the scenes pushing the Midnight Crew into deeply complicated characters, tackling prejudice, the cost of entertainment, and gang violence.

Life Aspect Leprechauns

Took a break from the project but finally finished the fourth gang! They are based on scientific fields, a military squad, and very loosely, video game classes. They are mossy in texture, hence their second name THE MOSS. ARROW: Physics. He has special arrows that alter the physics of whatever they strike. For example, causing something to have zero friction or simply throwing it high in the air. SELENA: Astronomy. She has a mini moon she has complete control over. She can throw it pretty far or use it to fly. Also, it pulls in small things. WINNER: Biology. They can rapidly adapt to any environment to be best "fit" for it. Highly versatile... TERESA: Psychology. She goes into people's heads, literally. BROCK: Geology. Can't feel pain. Which is a good thing because he is often used as a drill head. ATTA: Meteorology. She can control the weather with her rifle using special rounds! ALCHEMIST: Chemistry. She turns things into other things... as long as it is equivalent. Whatever that means! EVERLASTING WHISPER: Quantum Mechanics. A whole lot of paradoxes, weird states of being, and absurdly op abilities. JEAN: Genetics. He can see connections between people based on their genetic relations. The connections are shaped like DNA helixes. BLUEPRINCE: Engineering. Every squad needs an engineer. PRESIDENT: Robotics. She is really good with all things robot. She should also be avoided at the high five competition. MEMOS: Memetics. Sorta immortal in that he spreads himself across people's perceptions as an ever-evolving idea. GRAVEDIGGER: Archeology. She is really strong and knows how to use her shovel to dig massive holes really fast. But she can also exhibit impressive self-control, not damaging any bones she finds. HEADCOUNT: Mathematics. He is like, really really REALLY good at math. This sounds pretty lame, but you don't even know... SOLDIER: Anthropology. The Soldier has the powers of humanity. This includes such things as the human spirit! Oh and the bad stuff like wars.
