I find the whole "papers whole personality now is oj" think kinda stupid.

Like when they made them canon did people expect the fact they are together just.. not show up in the show at all????

Honestly as someone who Is in a gay relationship with their best friend the way they act is completely normal for a couple especially one who was friends before they dated. I mention and brag about my boyfriend all the time.

You don't have to like payjay i get that it's not for everyone but saying that the way they act would be unrealistic or unreasonable for a couple is just wrong.

Paper is getting his own story and interactions woth other characters hes obviously having a story line wIth poppy. Just because oj was there doesn't change that it's Paper's storyline. Oj is papers boyfriend so obviously Paper would lean on him for emotional support a bit during everything thats happened because they are in a relationship and thats what partners do for each other.

The fact is oj amd paper are important parts of each other's life they would be even if they weren't canonically dating because they are best friends and best friends relay on each other when things get hard, they support each other, they are important to each other.

Hi as #1 OJ lover OJ is like.. canonically ableist. I don't think he'd go around calling people slurs because he isn't intentionally ableist, but he is ableist.

I think him saying incorrect things to people would be in character for him. Not directly "you (ableist slur) you!!! Screw you!!" but like making comments he doesn't even realize are ableist (like maybe talking to Suitcase and making a comment that triggers her hallucinations)

He is also just. Ableist towards Paper. He called Paper's alter "Evil Paper" and ignored the protest. He CHEERED when Paper repressed the alter and "killed" him. He said "you defeated your evil self!!".

OJ is ableist. I think a LOT of the cast is. That's just how they were made. And I think it's REALLY important to acknowledge that.

A LOT of the characters were transphobic!! That's IMPORTANT to keep in the story because that's why Paintbrush wasn't comfortable with coming out

We need to get more comfortable with characters we like being shitty people. OJ isn't intentionally ableist, I stand by that, but he is deeply misinformed on a lot.

I do understand that the characterization of OJ calling his disabled friends slurs though for no reason is.. yeah that's not it.

I like Four especially and I don't know why. I don't really care for the objects and I do like X too but I ESPECIALLY like Four for some reason. Help. He has invaded my brain and refuses to leave.

I hate the ideas that "oj is a bigot and calls disabled people slurs" (someone genuinely made a comic where he calls suitcase a slur while the creator of it couldn't even reclaim that slur)

I genuinely am trying to figure out where that headcanon came from. I like making oj flaws bit those headcanons feel like mischaracterization.

Oj dose genuinely want and is trying to be helpful especially in the new season ever since he realized how he treated the people he cared about in the past.

Some people i think pull it off well in their aus for example the ii rotten au (every character is pretty messed up in it) and yoyalcakeyum (i think thats their username) also writes it pretty well

But some people genuinely take it too far to the point ot feels like they just wanna be edgy (and like 3 out of 4 of the people I feel that way about are proshippers.. idk why I mentioned it i just think it strange ot happened that many times)

Im the person who made that confession talking about how I didn't like how some people portrayed oj and I just wanted to clear some stuff up if thats okay.

Im not saying i think you cant portray Oj or other characters as shitty people at all. Some people do it in a manner that is well made and is obviously approached with care and good intentions.

However I have witnessed some depictions that where so terrible made that it just left a bad taste in my mouth as a disabled person.

I just feel like skmtimes you can tell when somthing was made to acually spread awareness or to tell an acual story and when somthing was made just to cause drama or to be as problematic as possible.

I won't say what au or comic/fic this is but I genuinely show someone make a au where oj says slurs, and undermines sa victims and dose all sorts of fucked up stuff. Did the au try to make any sort story besides "lol look how bad oj is here) no. After reading a bit of the first chapter I went to the last one to see if Oj in the story faces any sort of karma for his actions... no.. I don't even want to describe what the ending was but it was... really bad.

And thats not even the only story I seen with it... I just wounder.. why? Whats the point other than making something offensive?? And why is it always oj????

Every time I see a post of a person in the osc hating on lesboys I find out whk their favorite character is and start to headcanon them as lesboys

Same goes for when I see people in the osc demonize npd or other disorders

Dumb person: I hate lesboys and think people with npd are evil and abusive

Me: leafy is a lesboy woth npd now. Fuck you
