can i be mean for a second

i think that some of you guys are being WAY too harsh on tpot. i’d like to see you try to manage a show with the first season having been written by two dudes who were preteens at the time, 60+ characters, and the shitshow of a fourth season

and before anyone says “then why was bfdia’s revival near perfect?”

they had way fewer characters to worry about

they didn’t need to worry about bfb just yet

time management!! they’ve gotten used to a monthly posting schedule, and in bfdia they could spend more time working on episode plots before animation needed to start. frame by frame animation is a bitch and it generally takes way longer than tweening

i feel bad for dissing bfb so hard but… i fear it was just that bad 💔💔💔 at least significantly worse than the other seasons. this is mainly because they were determined to pump out episodes super quickly rather than focusing on the quality, and post split wasn’t exactly working with the greatest cast
