We have Turner! He’s a deer hybrid who specializes in bows, hatchets, and tracking. He and his mother were New Seasides first residents as they left his father. His mothers name is Lenora and she’s a deer centaur looking person. Turner was the first friend Oscar made in New Seaside and it was definitely more one sided for a bit. Oscar probably annoyed the shit out of him for a bit (he/him)

Next is Sonya, the idea I had for her that I talked to Beck a bit about was she was an allay that had been vexed before. Possibly restored with Arisannas help, she is a bit more mature than some of the others. She struggles with empathy a lot and her speciality is knives (these two are connected)! She still fights like a vex, vanishing into walls and getting in close to make precise cuts. She likely is the voice of reason in the group even if she is a very tiny voice. (She/they)

Raja is next! They’re an endermen and were found by Jerry’s sisters before they were able to reunite with him. Raja is more timid but they specialize in long weapons such as spears and pole arms as well as any staffs. They’re descended from speakers of enderian and struggled with hearing her thoughts for a lot of their childhood until she was killed. It was always a one sided communication. Raja doesn’t know anything else about their family as they, like Oscar, we’re born and displaced during the resets. Raja does not get along with centross, they make him uncomfortable. (They/he/she)

Ofc you all know Oscar who would eventually specialize in crossbow, scythes, axes, and sword combat. Probably knows a few bit more due to Jerry and centross. He canonically sucks at wielding a trident though. He named the group the “Realm Breakers” because he thought it was cool that they were all from different realms.

Oscar met them all either in school (Turner) or while going through the New Seaside version of basic training as he joined up to help Jerry who’s the guard commander. The Realm Breakers eventually became their own specialized unit for the New Seaside guard as they are scarily effective. The main issue comes with that they will only listen to Jerry or Kai for orders. Centross sometimes if they’re feeling like it (most of them have adopted those three as basically their own parents. Centross hates this)

Haha that’s Turner! There was a lot of things I wanted to do for the end of fable that, because of finals, I was unable to get done. One of those things was having Oscar get an established friend group as a teenager since I felt like it was a good way to show him growing up and becoming his own person

I got designs (and honestly backstories that are unnecessary since they were just gonna be seen in a few frames) for them but ultimately the big cutscene I was gonna do was scrapped and the “Realm Breakers” as I so lovingly dubbed them got mostly scrapped. Turner was kept in as a mention as him and his mom were always meant to be the first new residents of the kingdom.
