He turned to see only a blank abyss, one that he's seen over and over again. Echoes of those he's known try to grasp the part of him that yearns to be alive, but he can't be alive again and that was a choice. The abyss around him closed in like a pride of lions circling their prey.
A light can be seen in the distance, he's tried so many times to reach it, but it only gets farther and farther the more he tries. It's a taunt from those he's had disputes with and it hurts so damn bad, he's never been one to hope, but his hope only dwindled the longer he stayed here. If he ever were to reach the light it would be so revitalizing, but he's far from worth that relief.
Screams resonate in the abyss that surrounds him as if the light were producing the sound and projecting it toward him. Why could he never be the one who got an ending when he waited and waited for them, WHY was he being punished for their actions?
The abyss that surrounded him wavered from time to time, demonstrating to him that this place wasn't as fixed as he first thought. Maybe just maybe if he pushed back hard enough he could escape whatever this place was and make it back home to those who still wish for him to be by their sides, but there wasn't anyone that wanted him not after they blamed their problems on him and saw him as the case of their pain...
Pain is all he feels and it continues to be one of the many many constants that never change. An anguished scream echoes out into the abyss almost ALMOST as if someone else had been pulled into the abyss.
