A private party for the senior crew of the Enterprise to celebrate Winter Holidays. Some confessions/actions are long overdue, and a certain doctor decides to take matters in his own hands. A game of Twister is involved and it all works out in the end.

Jim Kirk, a man of long drives and large personality, stumbles into a career in the PGA Tour. Fame, fortune and notoriety await him as Jim collects national media attention, groupies, a new best friend, the ire of the first lady of pro golf, and also, maybe, the love of his life.

Big Me is the best star trek AU that I never thought I would read. All the characters are translated wonderfully into the 21st century, the narrative is engaging and really fun despite (because of, even!!!) the fact that it centers around the golfing world and the ending is lovely, mushy, and feel-good with a completely charming epilogue afterwards. I am incapable of talking about this fic without gushing. It will make you smile.

There’s spanner in the works, though, when a group of colonists exploring an unknown part of New Vulcan go missing, and the Enterprise crew is called in to help. The problem? The Vulcan High Council has insisted they take a guide — Spock’s wife, T’Pring.
