Don't meet your heroes and all that, but I do want to meet OSP Red, shake her hand, and thank her.

It's thanks to her I learned there is in fact a word for someone who's just not interested in dating, or smooching, or smooshing booties, and it's called aro/ace and it's totally valid and normal.

Thanks to that, I actually had a great time in high school! I could stop worrying about whether or not I should be single and focus more on my hobbies and bettering myself, and spend more time worrying about the million other things that come up in adulthood.
