that's not quite true, i am as consistent as my brain decides it's going to be at any given moment. my use of capitals, punctuation, and other bits of semi necessary language and grammar tools are all occasionally present but not always. I will apologise now for the headache it may cause.

a language trend which, as far as i can tell, is quite common in the US but appears elsewhere too, that confuses me is the phrase 'From the time' as in "from the time she was seven".

like i wouldn't use that phrase, i would just use 'since', but it comes up fairly regularly and has just come up in Harrow the Ninth and im just curious about it as it always felt rather clunky to me but I dont know whether thats a me thing or whether other people have thought about this
