So about four years ago I went on holiday in Edinburgh, and on my last day there I decided to visit Greyfriars Kirkyard and do some sketching. I was sitting just off the path drawing away when a woman came up to me and asked “d’you know where Tom Riddle’s grave is?”

and I was like Uhh? because the only Tom Riddle I’ve ever heard of is from Harry Potter and I half thought she was trying to prank me or something. Anyway, I told her I didn’t know.

So she goes “You do know this is a famous churchyard right?”

“Well yeah, that’s why I’m here.” We’re obviously confusing each other at this point so I awkwardly gesture to my sketchbook and say “Look, I just came to...”

And the woman says “Oh, you’re drawing? Well, shite.” And off she goes, leaving me to get back to my grave monuments and text my mum about the weird lady I met in a graveyard.

pros/cons of hariah?

Is she flirting? Is she just being friendly? Does she want a relationship or just a hookup? Who knows. (She definitely doesn’t.)

The Moon!

the moon, have you ever written a love letter? Sort of. I did a drawing for a guy I saw briefly and wrote a short thing on the back. It wasn’t really a love letter, more of a ... note of affection? It wasn’t like we were together for long enough for love to develop, it was just a summer fling. I’m better at expressing feelings visually anyway.
