Today I saw patients with an NP in the morning and spent the afternoon seeing patients with an attending who also happens to be my faculty mentor and an expert in OMT. We did a lot of OMT today, even on patients who weren't originally there for it! Since he has a full patient panel and is going on vacation soon, all those patients who now want more OMT visits are scheduling with me and it's blowing my freaking mind to not only be seen as a doctor but that people actively want me to be THEIR doctor. Like what? And I get to continue seeing them regularly for the next three years? Maybe more? Whattttttt
I forgot to post about this but lol... I’m a physician now. Start my orientation block on Monday, first ED shift on the 29th! EEEP!
🤓🤩😍
redditor says this wasn't satire, their GME actually sent this out 😩
Done! 72”x72” commission for Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado. #osteopathic #TreesSpeak
An apple a day keeps the (student) doctor away.
To all people applying this cycle. Did you osteo pre meds knew about this?
My thoughts about this is that I’m pissed. I took a gap year to collect my stuff and present it well. I was suppose to apply during the last cycle but decided to wait for this one. I’m completely regretting it now, my gpa is now going to drop and I won’t have an outstanding application anymore. All of my post bac friends are pissed too. Some are now upset that they spent so much on loans trying to retake this classes all for it to be averaged. Idk what to say anymore.. kinda upset that I could have avoided this.
