Transhumanist Artist - Blaire Ostler
(Provo) Recently a transhumanist artist named Blaire Ostler donated a painting from her collection of work she has done. Blaire among many things has been featured in art shows and paints in oil. This painting its another great addition to the transhumanist art collection at the Transhuman House. From Blaire’s site:
“Blaire Ostler is a philosopher specialized in queer studies, and is a leading voice at the intersection of queer, Mormon, and transhumanist thought. She is an author publishing her first book, “Queer Mormon Theology: An Introduction.” She is a board member of the Mormon Transhumanist Association, the Christian Transhumanist Association, and Sunstone.
Blaire is also an artist and poet, and spends her spare time hiking, painting, writing, and bickering with her friends about almost any topic imaginable. Blaire and husband Drew reside in Utah with their three children. “

Transhumanist Art Collection
One of the great things we have been able to at the Transhuman House is the building of a Transhuman Art Collection. While some are prints a lot of it is original works of art. A lot of the work is also digital and I wanted to showcase some of my favorite bits of art and the artists.
