Dani had transferred to OSUCA only a few months back, yet she felt like she fit in pretty decently. It wasn’t something she was used to by far, but it felt... nice? She knew of people and people knew of her. Was this what it felt like to have a social life? Weird.
She was currently in her “rest period” as she called it where she did whatever she pleased for forty minutes. She made it a point to get lunch somewhere in there, but other than that she could play her guitar, take a nap, walk around the quad, anything really, except homework and work. Something she figured out early in life was she could very easily get sucked too deep into work projects or things she deemed more important than say eating or sleeping or her mental health. So, with some intense deep dives into her own fucked up psyche via multiple therapists she’s made sure to include at least a little time in her day to do nothing but focus on her needs - whatever they may be at the time.
Today her needs were simple; she wanted a grape slushie and a hotdog. She blamed it being her time of the month, but shrugged it off nonetheless. She had plans to meet up with Zi, so she decided to be nice and grab her one too. On her way back to her car, she saw somebody sizing it up. Now, she wasn’t exactly from the ghetto, but she wasn’t naive enough not to protect what was hers. “Hey!” She let out as she got closer to the unknown person and her car. “Can I help you?” She asked the person.
