If you haven't already planned on it, definitely check out the Missouri Botanical Garden's Japanese Festival this weekend (September 3-5). There's live music, Japanese food, sumo wrestlers, art, martial arts demonstrations, Japanese beer and sake, craft demonstrations, etc., etc. 

Also, don't miss St. Louis Osuwa Taiko, the STL's homegrown traditional Japanese drumming group.
