hc + the Clara she's dating

At first, she was simply interested. No one really gets the chance to date another version of yourself, so she kind of jumped on it. She didn’t expect much, didn’t even realize that she was falling in love. Narcissism at its finest after all.

She would do anything for Clara, would do whatever she could to keep her safe and smiling and happy. There’s something about falling in love with yourself that makes you realize things you never knew.

And dammit, she loves Clara too much to let her go.

If there was anyone who ever wanted to go to Victorian London because they thought it would be interesting, then Clara would love to tell them otherwise. Yes, it was interesting, but that was when one wasn’t at risk of being hunted down. Thankfully, she, Clara, and the Doctor had been alright for the most part until a few moments ago. But, as usual, they managed to get away.

“Everyone’s alright, yeah? No one’s hurt, we can probably get a move on after we catch our breath?”

She’s not sure what to expect when she walks into the flat. And a crying Clara was certainly not on the list.
