Depois de 12 fucking anos sabendo sobre essa história e sendo apaixonado por ela, eu FINALMENTE consegui terminar. Vai ficar sempre aqui, um vaziozinho no peito. Eu sei que a saudade vai apertar de vez em quando. Mas fica também a sensação de missão concluída. Obrigado Rumiko Takahashi, Inuyasha e cia por terem sido tão importantes pra mim em grande parte da minha vida e por me ensinarem tanta coisa. My thoughts about that ‘Sit Boy!’ business...

From the very moment Inuyasha was freed from that tree he made it clear that he was quite powerful, extremely dangerous and unwilling to listen to reason. So Kaede’s effort to place the rosary on his neck was as much to save Kagome’s life as it was to spare him from a miserable end. 

This is one of the few times in the story that the Sit! command was necessary. From that point onward the anime took the Sit! command and spammed it like nuts for comic relief. It turned into a cruel gag. 

Although in the manga you still see the Sit! command used for comic relief, it’s not nearly as overdone as it is in the anime. For the most part the Sit! command is used to stop Inuyasha from being a dumbass or doing something he would later regret. 

I really wish the anime could be redone in the same way Full Metal Alchemist was. With a consistent animation team that follows the manga’s story far better than the original anime did.

{ Outoftime; So I'm only putting this here because a couple people have been in my inbox and asking Kags if she's ever used the 'sit' command while Inuyasha and her are intimate and saying how hot it would be and stuff and like... do you guys realize how powerful that command is? His body LITERALLY makes an outline into the ground and sometimes it really does hurt him; why in the heck would Kagome use that while he's inside of her? I mean... that would hurt beyond belief and probably tear her open and hurt Inu's D and all sorts of things. 

Using the 'sit' command during that is not hot. 

That sounds play fracking painful. }
