Namjoon can sense emotions. Yoongi can manipulate them.
Namjoon hates how Yoongi's calm is what keeps him grounded. Yoongi hates how Namjoon's powers complete his own.
They might take a bullet for each other, but that's only because they're partners. There's nothing else to it.
(Or, a superhero AU where BTS aren't a boy band but a group of superheroes put together by Bang PD, and Namgi are partners who hate each other. Until they realise that maybe, they don't.)
