Obligatory KNY version of my ocs

Was finally able to settle on a palette for Xera!

Extra hcs (but not rly because they’re my own characters so they’re more canon?):

Cot, the boy in the middle, is infamous for being sour and hard to work with, and known only to cooperate with the two next to him.

He’s strong-headed and somewhat arrogant, so on joint missions, will usually run ahead of the group to deal with it before others get hurt. This has, on several occasions, gotten people hurt.

Also known as a little menace. He is very good at annoying people to heck and back.

Vivi, on the left, can come off as cold but is generally an amicable person. People all know her, but she doesn’t stick with any group in particular. She’s a floater, at least until she meets the other 2 in the pic

Vivi is also the easiest to speak with in their isolated little group.

Xera is too shy to speak with anyone.

She seems meek at first, and will be really quiet about her opinions and such if you don’t know her well. Those who do know her know she is a lot more talkative about her interests.

Like before, Vivi still uses breath of birds. Cot either uses breath of water or mist. Xera uses breath of rock, an offshoot of stone (which is somewhat weaker and more defense based).

New comic coming soon: Antisocial Alliance

Hi!! I’m so sorry for my inactivity, I’ve been more focused on my instagram and haven’t had any time with school to do anything, but I’ve been doodling and this has sort of been in my head for a while!

Basically, this comic will follow three different antisocial people: Cot, Velvet, and Xera!

Cot is a little sh*t. He loves egging people on and annoying them, and because of that, people distance themselves from him. He really only cares about himself.

Velvet’s a returning oc, but I redesigned her a little. She’s pretty lazy in this comic. She can interact just fine with people, but put her with people for too long and it just saps the energy out of her. She likes to think of herself as part of friend groups, but generally because she doesn’t know what to say, people will let her hang around, but not talk to her unless they need something.

Xera’s not here, but she’s also a returning oc! She’s the shy type, and is often anxious about what everyone thinks of her even though she often comes off as cool and collected to other people.

It’s still in planning and storyboarding for now, but I think I’ll turn it into a 4-Koma slice of life about these three characters. Thoughts?

Don’t think anyone wanted this, XD but kny oc?? I guess? I did a post on her before that was a lot smaller, kind of solidified her design a bit Her name’s Velvet, shortened to VV, and she’s part European, which is why her hair color is unusual. It’s kind of platinum blonde, not white? She moved to Japan when she was young and due to certain circumstances that I haven’t figured out, she couldn’t move out. Whatever stopped her from going back to Europe ended up also being the reason she picked up swordfighting, probably. She’s a calm person and very still and in tune with nature, to the point that she seems distant from everyone she knows. She’s often labeled as kind of cold to other people, but she really enjoys birds! They land on her from time to time. Though, her label has some truth; she’s usually pretty sarcastic to other people. Her red poncho is something she’s had since she was young, and she keeps it as a memento of her family. Before, it would reach and cover her fingers, and now, it reaches to just below her elbow. Her breathing form is a derivative of the Wind Breath, that uses symmetrical movements of arms somewhat mimicking wings. Her swords are a bit shorter than a normal blade, since her arms individually aren’t that strong. The right side of her hair is unusually messy because she always sleeps on that side, and never combs it in the morning. It’s because her left arm was at some point infected by demon blood (like what Giyuu thought happened to Nezuoko at first? Demon blood getting into a wound and turning a person into a demon.) She managed to get the blood out pretty quickly, so she isn’t demonic at all, but her left arm twitches a bit when agitated. When too much pressure is put on it, her left arm ends up twitching, which is unreliable in battle. I tried to put as much thought into VV’s design as the kny creators put into their characters, so I hope you enjoy it! Small aside, since no one in Japan can proonounce “V”, they all end up calling her Bibi, which she doesn’t mind.

New oc! Her name is Rosa, came up with it on the fly because her braided bun looks like a rose

And if you were a demon slayer?~ Tan tan tan~

Lol, new oc ig but it’s me! I overdid it a little, I just ended up having a ton of ideas... (^_^;) But meet Ebisu Eihare, youngest of the Ebisu family of the Breath of Fog. They’re a lazy family, with two daughters and one son.

I actually found out when making this that Chinese names translate really well into Japanese. So my name, which essentially means sunny or clear day, turns into Eihare, and my sister turns into Eikaoru, though I’d probably shorten it to Kaoru to sound better. Then again, this came from playing around on Google Translate, so I’m not sure how accurate it is. This is also how I got our surname, Ebisu.

Some more information about Eihare, she’s more of a scholar than a fighter. She records documents and notes on all the demons she encounters in scrolls that she keeps in a bag with her at all times. Then again, she wouldn’t have become a demon slayer without some fighting skill, so she does have a weapon in the bag as well, but most of the time, she’s given co-op missions with other demon slayers. She’s really weak actually, and has no idea how she survived final selection. It may or may not have been because she ran from all the demons she saw.

I realized as I was coloring this that a lot of the colors I wear are super mismatched, (^_^;) but I’d say a lot of the Ebisu family wears maroon and blue. The eldest, Kaoru, wears dark blue a lot more though.

Me and my current oc’s! This took a while, I’ll probably color when I can though!

Not what I usually do, but here’s an oc for Kimetsu no Yaiba, since I’ve seen several other people doing this :P

This is kind of a redesign of my old oc, VV, who was a kind of bird hybrid. She always had a red poncho on, since she needed to be warm while flying but couldn’t restrict her wings or they’d be uncomfortable.

With her KnY version, I think the haori translated over pretty nicely from that. I think her Breath form would be Bird Breathing, though now that I think about it, hearing it in English is... a bit lame. But it would be something like Tori no Kokyuu and that sounds a lot cooler! (And Shinobu has Insect Breathing, so it’s not that faretched...) Her style would mostly involve propelling herself off the ground and using the added speed and force she gets from falling to aid her attacks. So most of her strength is in her legs, which she needs in order to get off the ground in the first place. She also has pretty good maneuverability, which she uses to aim where she falls and stuff.

I redesigned her to have a longer nose, since that’s how I originally imagine her, and since it would be good practice. It looks a bit weird to me, probably because I’m just not used to it. I also turned the feathers on her cheeks into feather-shaped tattoos.

Oh! Also her left side hair is always a lot messier because she has a problem in her right arm, so she avoids sleeping on it. She just... doesn’t bother to comb her hair in the morning.

Also update on kny swap au, I wrote 2 chapters (9k words) and might post soon.
