They both developed severe eating disorders, practically starving themselves into being skinnier. But when his friend was taken to the hospital for severe malnutrition and then died while there, things were put in perspective.
He then tried to eat healthy and live his life following healthy habits. Now he tries to help others who are looking for answers on how to incorporate healthy living into their busy lives.

ryun is twenty one and a student at west celestial while also working part time as a bartender who on the side will do the job of escorting to fit his power and keep true to his roots. he is roommates with minjae who has been the only person ryun has truly let in so far and trusted with himself to completely surround and enamor himself with.
he is gay, very very gay and on the slight parallel to what this discovery usually means it actually empowered him as his sexuality was something ryun could fully feel in control of and a constant in his life.
his powers are Amokinesis. he can sense and manipulate all the aspects of love, whether by increasing, decreasing, causing or otherwise channeling love, even manifesting the emotional energy to physical level. & Subliminal Seduction, a more tampered down version of sexual inducement meaning he can project seductive thoughts into subconscious and/or otherwise seduce subjects.
mostly ryun feels totally confident in himself now and comfortable, more like the idealized version of aphrodite that is painted in mythology and less like the hidden darker parts, though he’ll never forget those and wants to get vengeance against those who tortured him with full intention to ( little does he know this is where ares blood is running through him ) but he still suffers with insomnia, anxiety and gets somewhat rigid if he is touched or advanced on unexpectedly.
ryun was born in a brothel, he never got a chance to know his mother because straight after birth he was taken from her and to be raised by the women in charge of the institute. he doesn’t know what happened to her since he was never allowed to see her but he expects they deemed her worthless after his birth and got her addicted till she overdosed by moving her to the department where the women were drugged. he’ll feel guilty over that till he dies.
he was moved to the male department as soon as he was legal and knew from very early on he was to be a toy for the governors and heads of the institute as well as clients but never expected that being young and a child of the goddess of desire would mean the men he worked alongside also targeted him. he was a favorite and ryun never knew love, never knew this behavior could be wrong, he wasn’t to be a fortunate child of aphrodite.
he was forced into a marriage with a high paying and long time client and business owner, whom he never saw unless it was to warm his bed but it meant that he would be out of the brothel occasionally, it meant that they earned more money on his behalf, it made him valuable and kept him earning a place in his poor excuse of a home when he had nowhere else to go.
furthermore, learning he was to be grateful for his torture being pleasure and of the mental kind when he saw the fiance act upon his violence, putting saeryun through torture of the sexual kind and gratification while also forcing him to sit pretty and be restrained as he was made to watch the violent gruesome acts his suitor would exemplify, threatened with these punishments himself.
he was kicked out one night for agreeing to pleasure someone who said they would pleasure him equally and being caught in the mutually beneficial exchange, a night that did not consist of penetration or the tasks that he had been assigned to pleasure the client with, that he found himself on the streets and not allowed back, the man spitting and laughing in his face as he was informed there had been suspicions all along he was unloyal to his work and that it had been a ploy from the start, he took after his mother well, played the dumb pretty blonde so accordingly.
it was shortly after this that he was found and told he was to be enrolled in West Celestial to keep him safe and show him how life should be, set him on the right track once again. he was taken under the mentors wing, put into therapy and set up with a life that would leave him in control also cutting off his marriage entirely.
realizing the value of letting saeryun follow what he already knew as well, he was told to rename himself ryun, to embrace his sexuality and power instead of distinguish it. given majors that would help him learn more about himself and how to treat his body so that it would benefit him to do the job he knew and the life he’d been raised in, landed a job as a bartender whilst being an escort. under heavy protection, a prized investment but fully in charge of who, where when and how he benefited his clientele.

Hey there! It’s Lizzie, comin’ at you with her second character, Malai a.k.a. Rocky. She really only answers to Rocky. She is a descendant of Thanatos, the Greek god of peaceful death. The thing is: Rocky isn’t even remotely peaceful and she’s a handful. I cannot control her, she’s wild, but she’s NOT BORING! Read more about her under the cut!
So, as stated earlier, Rocky descended from Thanatos. With that, she’s got some abilities that are super strange.
But let’s start with a little of her back story. Born in Thailand but moved to Korea when things between her mother and a man she thought was her father became a bad situation.
They packed up and left for Korea. Not even a week after moving, her mother drops her off at a random house with people she’s never met, claiming she’ll be back. She never came back and Rocky lived with this family of con-artists and criminals.
Now for her abilities. One kicked in quite earlier and the other seemingly took longer.
For starters, the ability that is almost impossible for her not to use is spiritual mediumship. Without even trying, she can hear spirits speaking to her, begging her to allow them to communicate. This power was exploited at a young age by the “family” her mother left her to live with. They would have her sit in a room for hours, trying to contact the deceased souls of clients they charged at the door and for the longest she didn’t know how to contact specific spirits. That lead to daily beatings.
Once she perfected it, she could contact any spirit on demand and things seemed to go well after she brought in lots of money for the family.
Her second ability manifested itself in a harmless way. She couldn’t keep plants alive. She’d bring them home to sit on her window sill and they’d immediately die by morning. It wasn’t until after her 18th birthday, she realized this power of life-force absorption (think Rogue if she didn’t have to wear gloves all the time) could actually work on humans too.
In a fight to leave the house, she ended up using the power on her so-called “father” and in the process, also killed her only real friend who tried to intervene in the fight.
Needless to say, she’s a walking time bomb. She’s susceptible to snapping and lashing out with very little provocation.
She’s never been a warm and fuzzy girl, but even more so after she left home, she’s a pretty angry chick. Knows how to fight and isn’t afraid to if she feels threatened.
Literally, at this point, just wants to watch the world burn. Nothing is too sacred and nothing has meaning for her. She’s got a hole for a soul.

He has born vis artificial semention. His mother planned it out.
Come to think of it she plans a lot of stuff out including his whole career
She probs wanted Carter to be governor smh so she classically trained him
But the South Korean government wasnt having any of that so Carter went to school
He was lowkey manipulated by other people- being someone who was considered a foreigner and gay didnt help matters
Carter did try telling on people and for a while the bullying stpped bt he was confronted again
Althugh this time he bit the bully and he got sick
His mom was proud of him though and told him about his heritage
is safe to say Carter was kinda pissed and moved away to college
They were gonna rekindle but shit happened and he never saw his mom again
So he was like f*ck it and became a professor rather than a doctr
